Actually, the Wiki and searching for a Captnduck on youtube for a Dwarf Fortress tutorial helped me greatly in learning the game. This guy has like 40 tutorials.

I agree. For an ASCII game, it's more complex and in depth than any other game I've ever played. Download a tileset, and it just makes it better.
