Well, they could be... You know, not on the computer, maybe? Perhaps playing a game of baseball? Soccer? Cricket?... Tennis?
Perhaps eating, sleeping, cooking... Different game? Maybe they're on World of WarCRACK?
They can't always be on, bud. Get used to it.
Besides that, pirates can be in Theta. Just can't do anythin'.

Well i wouldnt tocuh World of Warcraft even if it was some reincarnation a god. Yes were are in fact not a bunch of sad little computer nerds who have nothing better to do with our time. Dab i know is visiting his dad (who's internet is nothing short of shameful) korrd has work (so he can make ends meet and put food on the table) me, I have family commitments at the moment and i will not just shun them to keep one person who wasnt fast enough happy, some of us i know for a fact live in time zones that make very late just now and these people may be, i dont know sleeping and others will be just waking up. Some will be on EVE where the AW have a modest little corporation and the rest will be out playing, having, fun exercising (yes that improtant thing we must all do).
In short we arent bloody miracle workers, we cant and wont be there all the time to help out. If im trading and some pirate is chancing his luck in Cambridge, Do i expect the SF to appear from nowhere and save my arse? Do i f*ck. Get real mate.

Ryoken, remember that we have something called "real life" to care of.
Gaming is something I do when I have nothing important to do, and I think most people does the same.
Playing with the computer is secondary, as real life comes first. So don't expect us to be 24/7 in game flying our AW ships...

Listen to Virus and Alpha..
Firstly; Yes, I'm at my dad's where I work 8-10 hours a day (Yes it is still summer vacation..) and the internet is hardly deserving of the word. Takes me 5-10 minutes to load a page, on a good day.
Secondly; We have lives, and don't always have time for the games. I can't even get on FL even if I had the game on my dad's desktop. Its almost as slow as dialup, and with the crap 128MB RAM and processor speed in the MHz range, I could barely run it to use chat, flying is well beyond me.
Thirdly; AW is on better terms with the common pirate and criminal, than the houses, if you'd like to look at our reputation sheet, you'll find 3 of the 4 are in the Unfriendly listing. NovaPG and UOG are more than welcome, especially considering their actions have aided us against the TBH and random Corsairs that helped them. NovaPG are well aware of the laws in Theta concerning hostilities.
Now I'll go spend the next 2 hours trying to read 4 pages of forums.:(
