Cabbages.
It is inevitable that Ame is worthy of her own forum signature, so this is an open call for anyone to make one.
Since I haven't yet found a Character Image that is sufficiently Kawaii and Terrifying to fit Ame's personality, the signature will need to be a bit more Abstract.
The general idea is it needs to look like it was made by a child, but in a sinister manner (e.g. Bloody Handprints, etc). Possibly a 'photo collage' of explosions, defaced pictures of Cabbage (as in the Vegtable) with stuff scribbled on them in Crayon.
It needs to have Ame-Chan written (possibly in Kanji as well as English) somewhere, and possibly a portrait of a Kusari Destroyer (if possible, to look like it was drawn in Crayon or Something).
Payment is negotiable. + or - 15 mil, depending on image quality.

Hey there... It seems to me a sad thing that your request was ignored for so long. I'm a fan of Ame, it's fun and pleasure to make her a sig. Also hard with the theme. Umm, and that's my first sig on request, so go easy on me.
So three thing I need some feedback before I can finish that. The first is the Kanji - do you have any idea how could I find out how's that should look like?
The second is the anime-girl... Does she looks fitting enough? Actually I was looking at a lot of faces, and most of them seemed to identical for my european eyes. I can't even say I've chosen my favorite or the best for that purpose. Just tell me if you see some better anime-chick out there and I'll replace the current.
The third is the text - I tried some fonts, but all looked too -tidy- for me. So I did it by hand. That's almost looks as awful as it was with any printed text but fit's better. If you'd prefer some actual font, leave a note.

I refined it a bit, and replaced the text. Choose that and all you'll never need to do more to make someone tremble in fear than calling him a cabbage.

@Evengelist: I like it. I quite like it.
Though, I don't want to say I'm going to use that one. I want to see what others can do.
In any case, my nitpicks are with the face and the text. For the former, I'd experiment around with diffrent anime heads to see which is closest to the mental image of Ame. (since there's nothing specific as of yet to represent her)
As for the text, I was considering something where you have a Japanese Script in the background, overlapped with roman text in a sufficiently contrasting color.
The Destroyer-slicing-through-cabbage I quite enjoy, though!
Also, any sig will have to be resized to about the size of my current ones (though a 'big' version could be kept as well incase something changes.)

So... The scroll is there, changed the face for a different random anime girl. If you fell in love with any other, just make sure to let me know. There's more of them than a living human could browse trough. Also I re-done the slaughtered cabbages. Hope it's still doesn't too much. Don't show it to any vegetarian, they will beg for a steak and blame you.
And I resized it. A bit. I realy like to use the provided 700 pixel width while working, but the X-Y ratio is now about the same as your other sigs, so it can be resized when it's finished. Just I'll be sad loosing all that detail..
EDIT: All right, I'm still far from that ratio. I made a test how that ship should look like in the said size and well... not to mention it's not a battleship size, the hand drawn-like filter looses all it's mood that way. Not to mention the cabbages.

Ahh, no worries - I wasn't even half-serious. I'm just practicing until the real professionals come. Victor will show me how it's done I'm sure of it. I'm soo curious...

Yes, a Mrawr on the untouched cabbages.
Anyhow, I see the problems with resizing, such will have to be addressed later.
As for specific Anime-characters for a representation of Ame, there's no one chosen yet. Looking for something obscure yet small yet "MRAWR". Unless I find something specific, you'll have to improvise/experament with diffrent ones.

About all that could be 'improved' would be the anime chick to use as amie.
Personaly I suggest something , while cute, also done in dark tones.
Preferbly something origonaly drawn to be semi dark as far as light goes.
