Hello,
So, i started a corsair char, got into a group and finally bought a corsair dread. on my third mission with my new battleship i was attacked by a group of 10 bounty hunters and killed... well, since i started to try to RP seriously, I wanted to ask if this was RP or not... : i can send the screenshot to anyone bothering to watch the original, but somehow i cant upload them...
well, it went like this:
ME, fighting in my mission, suddenly about 10 bounty hunters around me:
Bounty hunter 1: "oh Look!"
Bounty hunter 2: " red contact!"
BH 3: "A money bag"
BH 3: "lets hunt him down"
BH 4: "moving to attack"
BH 3: "for the guild!"
BH 5: "weapons free"
BH 6+7: "opening fire"
5 sec later i am dead....
so, is this the sort of RP i was told when i came to this forum first to do? i thought it would be a bit ... more... but ok, the "engage!" line seems to be enough, or not?

The 'engage' line isn't good enough.
If they start shooting you - and more than 50% shields dropped by them - then you can engage without any warning or role play.
Don't talk about it on the forums... People tend to tell you not to use your battleship for the next few days.

Engage itself is not enough..but that is. Now, its borderline, but on the legal side. Can't say its very much fairlplay, but then, it doesn't have to be.
On another note, the BHG are only allowed to attack you if you have a bounty on your head...

well, that is funny... they say every corsair has automatically a bounty on him.....

Blanket Bounty.

I think it was the (Outcasts? Bretonians?) that placed a blanket bounty on Corsairs - so the Bounty Hunters are getting paid for every Corsair they take down.
Similar to the Mandalorians - we get a Falcata if we can shoot down 4 (or 5?) Corsairs.

No. They didn't engage you with a simple "engage" - according to you, anyway.

Get used to it. Most(not all) BH's join up just to PvP, and since they suck so badly in it? they need to gangbang you to win.

Well they pretty much gave the smallest amount of RP possible...
Which is a shame.
