I am sending this message today to announce the creation of
"The Sirius Relief Foundation".
My reason for this is because of the things I saw in my brief time in the Kusari-Bretonian war. I served as a helmsmen on the KNF Destroyer Nami for 6 years before and for a short time during the war. In my first "real" combat the Nami was nearly destroyed in the invasion of Tau 31. I was severally wounded causing my eventual discharge from the KNF because of the injuries sustained. In my lengthy time aboard the hospital ship Hīrā I saw what war does to people. I saw the horrors everyday people suffer, not just to the military personnel, but the civilians who were brought aboard.
Elders.......Women......Children......
I remember there being this young boy I saw who was finally waking up after hours of surgery to save him. He had been on a transport that was moving his family and 200 other people to planet Leeds and was just leaving Glasgow when the KNF invaded. It was an accident and the KNF did not purposely mean to destroy the transport but it was mistaken for a BAF supply ship and destroyed. After the battle there the Hīrā moved in and detected 1 life sign aboard the wreckage. The young boy had seen hell in the face and thought the worst might be over, but he was then told he was the only survivor. These kinds of things ruin people's lives forever.
I was so naive before the war at the suffering that happens every single day all over Sirius. Even our "enemies" the "Pirates" of the Sirius have seen this, and it is the cause of many of them becoming pirates. This is not the wisest or most honorable path to take but it is all too often the only path they have to feed themselves and their families. Yes there are some out there who find joy in piracy but most pirates genuinely do feel bad each time they pirate but know there is no other way.
I have been employed by Interspace commerce since leaving the KNF in 815 and have saved every available credit I could for this company. I will continue working for IC to raise more money for the SRF. The SRF is a non-profit organization that will only use the funds Ive saved for the purchase of food, medical supplies, water, shelter, and transportation to help out people in need all over Sirius.
Any and all donations are accepted to help the SRF, you don't have to give a lot to help a lot.

Also please contact the SRF here that you made a donation so a record may be kept.
The SRF will also accept donations in the form of transport, if you are interested in a "convoy of hope" to help us bring help to people or help us bring people out of harms way then contact us on the Neural Net please.
The two missions of The Sirius Relief Foundation are to help end war and to help in the recovery of any disaster where people in Sirius suffer.
By working with the factions on each side of a conflict the SRF will act as a mediator and attempt to find a solution that satisfies both parties and maintains a lasting peace.
Any factions currently at war that are ready for peace talks with their adversaries can contact the SRF here on the Neural Net. The SRF will constantly attempt to contact all warring factions for peace talks.
During times of war or even when disaster strikes the SRF will do everything within its limited power to bring food, medical supplies, water, shelter, and transportation to the victims.
Currently the SRF has purchased its first star ship the "SRF Helping Hand" and its set for completion and its launch very soon.
Finally I have a personal appeal to all the oppressed "pirates" of Sirius
I understand that your reasons for what you do are your reasons and I have personally seen what evils have happened to many of you at the hands of careless people. I do ask that you take a different approach to the way you conduct your business but do understand that fate has dealt you the hand you have and you are doing the best you can for your family the best way you know how. If you do see the SRF|Helping.Hand please do not pirate that ship, the supplies it carries are meant to help Sirians. This organization is not controlled by any of the houses or corporations and its supplies are not controlled by them either. The SRF|Helping.Hand will bring help to all Sirians, even your people if you request it.

Consumer Goods - To provide clothing, toiletries, and housewares for refugees.
Food Rations - To help feed refugees on planets ans stations as well as on the trip.
Oxygen - To make sure over-crowded stations have enough for life support.
Pharmaceuticals - To help treat wounded refugees.
Scientists - At times to further research for medicines.
Synth Paste - For feeding refugees during the trip.
Water - For hydration of refugees, also used for cooking bathing and cleaning.
Any other goods you see aboard the SRF|Helping.Hand are donated gifts, usually sold to help raise money.
[color=#FF0000]KEEP IN MIND WE DON'T ALWAYS GAIN FUNDS WHEN WE BRING GOODS TO AID, SOME PLANETS AND STATION PAY LESS THAN THE PURCHASE PRICE OF GOODS.
The transportation of the Refugees is another cost but it is usually offset (for now) by planets like Erie that pay for new settlers.
One of the other high costs to us is piracy, we seem to find more and more that don't care that we are only trying to help people, not gain money for ourselves.
We have asked several companies for us to be able to purchase a larger ship from them in order to move more aid, the talks are still in process.
Finally the purchase of new ships as our family of volunteers grows is an item for the future once funds allow that.

The Brigands from Gallia who were stopped in Tau 31 picking up goods were compelled to donate credits and goods to assist in the recovery aid on the Kusari-Bretonian war front lines.

The fact that Mr. Sanguinetti was able to look past our troubled history and provide this donation is a true sign that the Lane Hacker cause needs to be looked at closer. He and I share a very similar youth and he was unfortunately left with fewer options than myself. I personally thank Mr.Sanguinetti for helping out people and ask that the Lane Hacker cause be respected by Liberty and a middle ground reached. I shall contact the Liberty Government later to discuss ideas and I invite Mr.Sanguinetti and the rest of the Hackers to peacefully join the conversation..
