Personal Background
My Libertonian father was employed on Roppongi Station where he met my Kusarian mother. I was born on June 3, 787 AS on Planet New Tokyo. Throughout my youth, I met much discrimination from my peers for my hybrid birth. As soon as I completed my degree in medicine, I left Kusari to work as a Physician for the Gas Miners Guild. After several years, I felt confined and imprisoned by the Gas Miners. I decided to resign and travel with an independent trader August Redburn, and I currently serve on his trade ship, ITS Vanity.

I am interested in this opportunity because I have often dreamed of living amongst true scientists and researchers of uncommon heritage but common goals, and who are indifferent to the insignificant house politics that are driving Sirius to war. I thought Gran Canaria would prove suitable, but through my work on the ITS Vanity I have found that Zoner politics are just as absurd. I have lost interest in Sirius, and I am ready to leave everything behind.

I believe we've had a few run-ins, Nighten.. Look, this expedition of yours, it's one of the few things that actually interests me, and that's damn hard to do. Not only that, but I've some big debts to pay. Now I am neither smart, nor skilled. The one thing I can offer you is my experience in leadership - I'm job I'm more than capable at along with killing, but I don't do either without good reason.

I've served as Lieutenant Commander for the Order, had my own squadron. Served as a Commodore of the Neo Terran Front for a year, and have been doing various odd jobs for the past six months, mainly for the Liberty Navy, funny enough.

I know you from our files, but I don't believe we've met personally...please give me a minute to introduce myself. My name is Clarence Harper. I've been a federal agent in a command role for the last 3 years until a chain of less-than-fortunate events made me and my spouse depart from the unit, under less-than-favorable conditions.
