Bretonia Police Authority Recruitment
Professional. Incorruptible. Dependable.
The Bretonia Police Authority is running low on numbers!
We need willing role players to take up the mantle and let our faction live on!
The BPA is responsible for the public safety of all Bretonian citizens and foreign visitors, provided that they are not hostile towards Bretonia, our Allies, or ourselves. Standard Operations include scanning transports for contraband, collecting fines, upholding the Kusari embargo and operating the important Nomad Transportation Licensure Board. As the BPA is also responsible for the safety of the public, we will engage pirates, terrorists, and other enemies only when they are a threat to us and the public.
Your tasks will include:
[*] Stopping the vast numbers of smugglers that flood Bretonia on a daily basis. Removing any hostile
[*] Pirates, Corsairs or Terrorists from our space. Assisting and Coordinating the BAF (They do need the organizational skills!)
[*] And exercising mountains of wit and cunning in your daily encounters with other players!

This is a great opportunity to further your RP skills and your PvP prowess will no doubt improve.)
The BPA normally fly the Hussar light fighter or the Paladin Heavy fighter or the Templar Very Heavy Fighter and mount Bretonian/Civilian weaponry only. List of Allies and Enemies as well as any other information can be found in the BPA Faction page.

The well-dressed Daniel Goldman pressed open the ajar door leading to the recruitment office. The room looked flooded with paperwork, officers pacing to and fro as they filled their daily duties to Bretonia, making sure everything was to perfection or better. You couldn't fault them, even when it was clear they were over their heads, the BPA sure made organisation look like child's play.
Striding to the desk which appeared to play hostess, Goldman found a pile of papers, including the Bretonian Police Authority application papers. Taking a copy, Goldman frisked himself for a pen, and almost cursed to himself 'til he sighted the obvious ballpoint chained to the desk for the sole purpose of providing people who didn't carry pens, a pen.
He chuckled to himself, glanced around the room to scan his possible workplace, and began writing. "If only Dad could see me now..." he muttered to himself.

3). Do you understand the AFO policy of the BPA? (describe in a sentence or two) - My aim's to defend and serve Bretonia, not to kill people needlessly. I have a zero-kill record whilst working for the BPA, and I plan to keep it that way.
4). Do you have any ambitions within the BPA after you join? I aim to preserve ties with the BPA NUU, and if I had the opportunity, I would take charge of the unit. The links between uniform and non-uniform units within the BPA are incredibly bleak. I would attempt to change that.
5). If you could have any pet in the world what would it be? (Be creative!) A rooster. Maybe paint it blue. I struggle to get up in the mornings.:(

I am aged 23. I was born on Planet Cambridge, mostly raised on Planet Leeds and then later moved to Sheffield Station. I graduated with a 2-1 Law Degree from Cambridge University. I have flight experience in Light Fighter class vessels, although little combat experience.

Junior Constables may only mount non-lethal weaponry until they have run several patrols under the supervision of a Senior Officer. If deemed suitable, they may then be authorised to use lethal arms.

Kiriko Suffers from accute Anaemia, and due to surgery 3 years ago was fitted with a inbedded capsual in her right arm, this capsual contains Cryer medication that is slowlly mixed into her blood stream to aleivate the effects of her affliction, effects can cause shortness of breath, blured/multiple vision and in worse case black outs, she changes the capsual once every 6 hours.

A young, slim, pale-skinned woman with slightly wavy, shoulder length brown hair and bright green eyes, clad in a black knee length skirt, leather jacket and black boots, slipped as quietly as possible through the front door of the Police station in her neighborhood of New London, humming softly as she approached the reception desk, suddenly she stopped humming and looked down at a receptionist who's eyes were buried in some kind of log book, she cleared her throat nervously as she drew a data pad from her jacket and placed it on the desk in front of the receptionist.
"Uhm...this is for you"

2). Background: Age Twenty, Katie was born to a lower income family living on Planet New London, she's seen things that the average person probably hasn't. Parents were simple shopkeepers, their convenience store was held up often by local hoods, luckily none of the robberies were overly violent, however none of the criminals were ever caught, Katie grew up believing that this was because the Authorities didn't want to stick their necks out for low income citizens, Katie attended and finished normal schooling.
3). Do you understand the AFO policy of the BPA? Yes, I understand this policy and to me it serves two purposes, the first is not to give weapons to possibly irresponsible people, the second is to encourage new officers to resolve situations in non violent manners.
4). Do you have any ambitions within the BPA after you join? I would seek to improve relations between the Authorities and 'Average' citizens and if I had any say in it, I would increase the frequency of Police patrols into low income neighborhoods on the Queen's many planets.
5). If you could have any pet in the world what would it be? I wouldn't mind owning one of those Gaian Parrots, I hear they're colorful and can even be taught to speak!

Alice Ross entered local Bretonia Police office on the Camridge and requested joining form. She was given it, of course, alongside with cup of tea.
"Mmh, application's big. Actually, I prefer to speak in person... Never mind then".
She quickly filled out application:

A stocky young man walked into the recruitment office with another tall butch man in a Bretonian Armed Forces flight suit.
"I've come to apply to be a cop." said the stocky young man nervously to the recruitment officer.
"Ah yes, certainly. Fill in these forms and return them to me, please." replied the Recruitment officer.
"Won't take me a second." said the stocky man.
The recruitment officer then turned to the butch fellow and quickly spoke "May I help you, sir?"
The man looked and replied "The names Commander McDonald, I was only seeing my brother here made it, so no, you cannot."
"Oh alright." the recruitment officer replied in a quick way, taken back by how abrupt the man had been.
Meanwhile the stocky young chap had settled down on one of the empty tables and had started to fill in his details.

Background: Grew up aboard Aberdeen Border station where my parents managed it, accompanied by my brothers, Boris (Now a Commander in the BAF) and Yoric (Now Adviser of Special Operations in the LSF) and my sister Bonnie. 3). Do you understand the AFO policy of the BPA? I do indeed, it is to prohibit irresponsible subjects getting their hands on weapons that may harm innocents, it is also a way in which new recruits can learn to resolve disputes in a non-violent way.
4). Do you have any ambitions within the BPA after you join? I would like to make my family proud by rising in the ranks and I would also like to uphold the BPA's high standards and if I can improve them.
