To: Junker prime designate units - Omi - 02-10-2010 ---INCOMING TRANSMISSION--- ---TRANSMISSION IDENTIFICATION: HARVESTER_40--- ---TRANSMISSION BEGINS:--- ![]() Attention Junker prime designate units. This unit has calculated that a "Salvager" designate chassis would be optimal for this unit's secondary directive of passive harvest and material acquisition. This unit can conduct exchange protocols for one "Salvager" designate chassis which this unit can download into and initiate control interfaces with. This unit can exchange:
This unit has deactivated active harvest protocols, therefore this unit will not use the "Salvager" designate chassis for active harvest. This unit will utilise the acquired chassis for passive harvest and material acquisition, acquisition of information and for material storage and analysis. This unit will equip the chassis with:

The Salvager is not produced or sold in any Junker facility. Each one is unique, built either by it's captain or by the family of the captain many years prior. They are family treasures prized by all who own them. Now, it's not that I don't want to sell you a Salvager, it's just that the ships you are asking for do not exist. To date, we have only ever had two Salvagers appear at Vieques as surplus after the captains died and the ships simply fell into disrepair. Those two were recently purchased. The only way you could acquire one would be to find a Junker that owns one and convince him to give it up. I don't see much chance of that happening. If the "Salvager" designate chassis is upgraded and adapted by the operating biotics, this unit calculates that they must start with a basic chassis which is then upgraded as their directives state. This unit could also perform a scan of an existing "Salvager" designate chassis, then acquire materials and construct a copy for this unit's usage. This unit would require shipyard facilities, however, and this unit could alternatively conduct exchange protocols for this. Alternatively, could this unit be notified if/when another derelict "Salvager" designate chassis is deactivated and then commence exchange protocols? ---TRANSMISSION TERMINATED--- ---HARVESTER_40 COMMLINK REMAINS ACTIVE--- To: Junker prime designate units - Hawk - 02-10-2010 ****Incoming Transmission**** ****Comm ID: Arbiter Jack Crow**** ****Location: Trafalgar**** I tend to be rather short in my replies sometimes. I guess that's what I just did and that's how this little misunderstanding occurred. I would actually love to sell you the schematics of a salvager, or of just it's basic chasis. The problem is, these schematics just don't exist. The salvager has never been produced in any of our ship yards. Each one was constructed from the ground up by it's operator. With most of them, the construction was started several generations ago and continues each time it is handed on to a younger family member. Manny of the salvagers you see today have been under construction for decades and are still under construction. Crow Out ****End Transmission**** |
