No need for secrets on this channel, espceally considering there were prominent Colonial pilots involved.

Also, personal insults toward the Imperial Throne of Kusari do not go over well here in New Tokyo.

Sqn. Commander Jack Skalski, 44th Air Group here

I was there, commanding what seemed like a rapid-response mission.

We received a call through Lieutenant Dagon, that there's trouble in New Tokyo, so we assembled a team and went there at best speed. Upon arrival we were "greeted"... Not sure this is the right word... By the commanding officer onboard the said destroyer. While attempting to investigate the situation and presumable the reason for us being called, the destroyer opened fire upon me and those under my command. I ordered my subordinates to return fire and we did that untill the destroyer ceased fire, we also lost one fighter in the process.

So much for the... politically correct part, Now let me be completely blunt since as a soldier I need not abide by diplomatic code.

The destroyer's commander seemed in my and my peoples' opinions utterly unfit for command. Our opinions are based upon the literacy and maturity of his or her communications and actions. He or she behaved immaturely and irresponsibly. Colloquially... Like a child who laid their chocolate-dipped fingers on the warship's controls...

If that was no accident however, I am truly sorry to say, that I fear for the result of the war should the Imperial Navy employ commanders of similar "quality" in the future.

Sqn. Commander Jack Skalski, 44th Air Group

Over and out.

Commander Skalski, I think you have a, clearly false view of what the role of the Colonials is in Kusari. Your not to be patrolling, or rapidly responding to threats to Kusari. My House is not a place for you to hunt your enemies. There is one law in Kusari, MY law, and there is one group of people who get to enforce that law, the Kusari Government and it's Representatives. Your Government have been given rights to protect your trade convoys in Kusari, that does not mean you bring wings of fighters into Kusari, with no tradeships to protect. That is not the order of things in Kusari. I still have no understanding of your reasons for being in Kusari today anyway. I have seen no evidence of convoys being protected, nor threats to any convoy, nor in fact any reason for your wing to have been in Kusari today at all.

You may not value Ame-Chan's command skills, I can guarantee you, should I have been in command of that Destroyer today, I would have ordered you out of Kusari as well, so she cannot be too far off the mark when it comes to this matter.

Let me make it clear one last time, The Colonials are not a police force, to deal with what they perceive as threats in Kusari, you are given rights to protect your convoys, not hunt pirates, or other threats. Now, if your only defense of the actions of your wing today is that you didn't like the disposition of the commander of the ship, I would ask the Colonial Government to extradite the members of 44th wing who were involved, to Kusari for prosecution.

Jack Skalski again

I believe your... request deserves a suitable answer and the only one that comes to my mind right now is one written a long time ago by a fellow soldier...

Firstly let me say that if any members of the Colonial Remnant forces acted against the Rulebook i will be the one pressing charges first sir... I do not take this kind of thing lightly, however i am getting... reports from several different viewpoints filtering upto me from the medical centre on minato. Apparently the pilot of the destroyed vessel is currently in no condition to be moved down the hall, never mind to yourselves. Plus i have no such authourity to order what you request. That power lies with our democratically elected government.

More may come to light as we look into it further. As a precaution I have ordered that the said pilots report to my office, of those that are able of course. If they have anything further to say it will be transmitted to you by them personally. As I myself believe that first hand evidence sometimes can help clear things up.

Kind Regards, Fleet Admiral Karl Meek, Commanding Officer, Colonial Fleet

Greetings Colonial High Command and Highness Jien Kogen.
I am Flight Lieutenant Kaze Nelson Reidman Dagon of the Colonial Battle Group 44th. In the quality of the first Colonial on site, i am more than qualified to answer your.. predicament.
I was tracking down an Outcast Storta class vessel that transversed Tau-23 with bomber and fighter escort, and as such i followed it through Kusari. More than one time that the Colonial ISE units are plagued by pirates within your border, tomo, and yet, i was merely doing a light recon on their position so that our convoys could transverse your space peacefully. Such thing is more than allowed within your borders, am i right, your Highness?
After all, the trade we bring to your House is more than welcomed, i suppose, and our guns at your side in the Bretonian front too.
So, here i was right in New Tokyo and open my system wide comms to contact the said Destroyer piloted by one Ame-Chan, for what it seems was surrounded by enemy vessels, and asked if she needed an assist.
She answered a resounding no, and has such, i left her to her will. Not late afterwards i see a Chrysanthemum, one that i destroyed not once, but thrice in Tau 23, being questioned by one of your Kempeitai officers.
I merely waltzed in and said hi to both parts as the battle raged on. I merely kept my eyes to the sensors to see if named enemies were attacking the KNF Destroyer.
As my unit arrived, with Squadron Commander Skalski in the lead in response to my alert of Outcasts units in Kusari, with possible pirating our convoy routes, which we had several transports prepared to depart already, the Destroyer also approach us with Wild infested Kusarian at it's side.
As we were merely conversing about it and the possibility of bringing the transports safely, the destroyer fires several, and i do mean several rounds of dual battle razors and turret fire at me, Squadron Commander Skalski and 1st Lt. 'Shryke' Quinn, downing our shields. This happened once at me, once at 1st Lt. Quinn and twice at Commander Skalski. The Wild units continued to circle around.
In the middle of this Ame Ame Shooting spree, she demanded something like Ame-Credits or Candy. Fortunetly, i am a woman with sweet tooth and had some to spare, as your Ame-Chan can atest that she tasted them.
Then she fired her second round at Commander Skalski, and we were ordered to attack.
Tomo, you may well know by now we follow orders and we do defend our own. If Ame-chan wasn't so trigger happy in shooting allies, it would all go well, we would have brought our transports and Kusari would have prospered a little more.
I do regret that my attempt to appease your Destroyer Captain didn't worked at all after she.. 'Nom Nom... Good Candy!' as she replied and proceeded to try to destroy my Squadron Commander.
In attachment i will send several gun-cams of the whole incident.

With most respect to the Colonial High Command and my greatest regards to your Highness,
Fl. Lt. Kaze Dagon.

//Word to the wise. I have been warned by a member of the Iseijin vessels (Wilde i refered on the report) that they are not Wilde per se, it's just a dev issue). Even though i did not knew about it, i acted in conformance to their IFF in this report and in the ocurrence, they did not fired a single round. So, my sorry to the Iseijin units present for calling you Wilde in this report.

Lt, I still do not understand your purpose in Kusari, nor your reported emergency call to your wing for back, as reported by your wing commander here,

Quote:

We received a call through Lieutenant Dagon, that there's trouble in New Tokyo, so we assembled a team and went there at best speed.

Now, as neither the KNF Dessie, nor the Kempati, required your assistance, I dont understand at all, why a distress message was sent out, and why a full wing of Colonial ships were dispatched to New Tokyo, without any request for such to be made. Also, protecting your convoys, does not entail keeping constant watch over what you term as "Your trade routes" which incidental, are in Kusari space. If you were indeed interested in protecting your convoys that had yet to leave Tau23, I would think they better thing, would be to keep your eyes on the problems, and leave that wing of fighters with the Trade Ships, and direct them around the threat. Problem is, it seems to me, the Colonials were interested in a fight, and it had nothing to do with your convoys, and you decided to make New Tokyo, the site of your fight. That is what I have a problem with. There was no good reason for a combat wing of Colonials to even be in New Tokyo at the time. Had they not been there, none of this would have happened.

The Kusari government waits with baited breath for the answer as to why a wing of Colonial assault craft were dispatched to New Tokyo. We will not forget about this incident.
