Topic title says it all. How do you get an LR guard rep? Can you use bribes? I only need to get it to neutral, and the cost of bribes is not an issue, I just really don't want to grind missions :/

Liberty Rogue bribe is the only way except missions.

Rogue Double Bribe needs a bit of Luck (I managed to get it after half an hour of trying, a friend got it in second attempt!)
Well, anyway, Here it goes:
  1. Dont Restart your character, Just make a new char and launch to space in your starflier.
  2. Go to Allentown Base (Pennsylvania - C5) which is a Junker Base
  3. Go to Bar and make sure the Bartender is offering Liberty Rogues Bribe
  4. But Dont take the bribe! Decline the Bribe offer and go to Equipment Dealer, then switch back to bar.
  5. Bartender still gives LR Bribe, But there is also one of the guys sitting there who is offering the same bribe
    - If not, switch to Dealer and back until you get 2 bribes.
  6. Now take both of them, And You'll have a huge boost in Guard Rep!
If you cant get the Double Bribe, the only way is Doing Liberty Rogues Missions, which takes a bit long, but still ...! (You have to do ~30 missions for Guard IFF)

Ok thanks, I guess the restart is where I went wrong. Will the double bribe be enough to get a barghest or do you need higher than neutral for bombers?

Oh, You want to get a Ghest? You dont even need Guard Rep for it!
Just Take a single Rogues Bribe and do 2 rogue missions so you'll get Liberty Rogues IFF, then get the ID from Buffalo and your Rep would be good enough to enter Cassini without getting shot. So, there you can buy the Barghest. (Get the ship from Attica Base and the Class 6 Fr. Shield at the Shipyard)

There's a much easier Way to get Liberty Rogue IFF.
  1. Fly to Allentown and get a Rogue Bribe
  2. Fly to Niverton and get a Liberty Rogue, Hacker and Outcast Bribe
  3. Done

Much easier IMO.
