No 1 PVP is player v play the key thing in this is the V which means me attking u and u attking me in return thats is what PVP means and if i want to quote other sites i can there is no forum rule saying i can not.
No 2 2.1 Following actions are considered cheating on server:
- Using non-Discovery mods, Speed Mod especially;
- Changing account information and using any kinds of software that changes normal gameplay;
- Using any equipment not included for sale/looting in Discovery mod, cloaks for example;
- Using F1 in any PvP combat;
- Using equipment that exceeds ship specs;
- Cloning, e.g. creating new characters to collect starting money.
no where here does it say u can not F1 when under attk and not fireing back

this is the meaning of PvP (player vs player)
where in that does it state that pvp means being attked and not fighting back?
now i doated to this mod so if ur going to ban me becoz ur rules arnt correct then i want my money back that i put in to the mod as for the game its only a game if F1 'ing was not ment to be it would not be added in to the game

Player versus Player is...
when a player attacks another player. Even if they're not returning fire. It's consiered PvP if one player attacks another, regardless of situation.
Discovery Server Rules are very explicit about PVP rules. If you F1 after you've been fired on, then it's considered a rule violation, regardless of your situation. If you don't want to fight, then go dock on a station or planet. Otherwise, you're violating rules.

if thats the case then u should be 100% clear on the rules as that is NOT what the rules say! and as for PvP mine is the defonition that is in a dictionary!

I heard that arguement before. the Definition of PVP is very much a debatable topic, but there is ONE authority on this. Igiss.
If he rules that the admins were in the right, then His rule is the word of god, basically, for this Mod.

I'm too used to people like you man. I've been a mod for 6 years (obviously not on this forum) and I encounter folks like you all the time. Making new threads because another was locked, not being able to admit you're wrong, and attempting to find ways to make people feel as if they are wrong (such as the donation bit). Just let it go and continue playing, or leave. Don't try to find loopholes, don't act like an ass. You know very well that this is roleplay, and when a *character* is attacked in the game, that character can either fight back or flee; however, that character doesn't have some kind of teleportation device to transport him into another universe (ie: off the server). The only time this would be acceptable is if your computer simply crashes, or real life comes into play.

I am going to bring up my position that RP is to pretend as if you are really there. So that being said, it is against the law of physics that a ship would just commpletely vanish from existence when it was attacked which is pretty much what F1ing in space does. I agree that it just should not be done, if you must, run to the nearest dock and then F1.
