Renders are a bit rough, but it looks like a good model. 8 turrets? Two on each wing? I wouldnt call that a gunship, it's a full fledged gunboat =P
Only thing is, the wings seem to remind me of rheinland design, perhaps something with more downward swept wings to keep with the civilian line would work better.

Those renders are bad, I had to do them quick before my boss came back.
But it only has 5 gun mounts. Two on each wing pair and one under the nose.

It doesn't really fit Freelancer, or at least the civilian lines.
Looks slightly like a Corsair sort of ship... but very little like anything, truth be told.

I think you should downsize the wings at the fore of the ship.
It would make it look more streamlined methinks.
