Hello,

i got the idea while viewing fuel topic somewhere on this forum so here it is:

what about make new equipment as "fuel type" or "fuel add" name is subject to change at this moment.

This equipment would provide a certain bonus to ship energy distribution system and drawbacks are possible too.

Something like this:

H3O derivate - increases ship energy regeneration rate by 5%, reduces total stored energy capacity by 5%

another one - increases shield regeneration rate by 5%, increases shield regeneration cost by 10%

and another - increases impulse speed by 5%, increases cruise charge time by 5 seconds

i have more by these should get you in picture.

small ships like fighters,freighters,bombers could have one slot, bigger ships like tranpsorts and caps could have 2 or more.

This equipment would be distributed to factions but not made faction only so if you would be a rogue and wanted that LFS prototype you would have to use trade either ingame or on forum, or metagame it if you dont care about RP.

Idea is to make ship equipment as commodity to be traded similar to codenames but usable by most ships not just class 10 fighters.

Any comments are welcome, if this idea was already posted somewhere i apologize i couldnt find it.

I'm quite sure the shield and weapon regeneration ones are possible, but I have doubts about the speed one. I like the idea though.
