Admin Notice: Player sanctioned - Cannon - 02-28-2010 Durnik has been sanctioned for breaking the following rules Quote:5.9 Disconnecting from the server in a PvP fight to escape, as well as in any other situation that involves player interaction, is not allowed. If you lose server connection during a player interaction, you should get back in game quickly to continue the interaction, with the other player's permission. If that is not possible, then post on the forums and PM the players involved.Since this is your third sanction in less than two weeks I've fined you approximately 800 mil credits. Admin Notice: Player sanctioned - GunslingerRoland - 03-05-2010 I request a screenshot or other evidence as I have not used F1 when interacting with other players since the first infraction. I learned my lesson and deal with it differently since that punishment. Know also I only did it the first time due to being pirated by a person breaking RP rules. Even so I have committed since that time to deal with such an offender the appropreite way and not to disconnect. thx Admin Notice: Player sanctioned - GunslingerRoland - 03-06-2010 I would just like to add that I do have a tempormental internet connection either due to the fact that I connect from the U.S. or possibly just my ISP My connection tends to hickup but I can't pin down where the problem is coming from. This happens to me in other games as well, i.e. AOE3, my connection will drop for 1-2 minutes then comes back to life, usually. It has caused me much agitation in games and in general. It has been happening much more frequently lately especially late at nite/ early morning EST. As a added note to express my agitation with this; I have a high rank in AOE3 in PVP matches and this problem has cost me losing major ladder rankings as well as pissing off my teammates due to my unrealiable connection. Sometimes I have to reboot my router to bring the net back up, but usually it just comes back to life after the passage of time so my modem doesn't seem to be the culprit. When it happens and I'm playing FL, and doesn't come right back up, I go off and get into something else and check back later usually. Just wanted to add this because I am at a loss to understanding when/ with whom this report came from. I can only imagine it must be related to one of these times as it happens an average of 1-2 times a date when I'm on late at night. Lemme know, thx Admin Notice: Player sanctioned - pipboy - 03-06-2010 I can't remember but I think I'm one of the people who reported you, if not I have screenshots if the admins would like more. I've personally witnessed you doing this a couple times. In fact we had to set up a sort of trap to even get proof of you doing it. As we would approach you you would F1 as soon as we would appear on scanners, too far away to see the "Cloaking" message. We had to F1 one of our ships out of game where we knew you would log back in and come in game right after you did to catch you. Right as we logged in, poof, there you went again. It took us a couple times of trying to fly up to you and you F1'ing before we came up with that idea and that was the only way we got a shot of the "Cloaking" message. I'm sorry but it's not in any way a bad connection. If that's what it is, your connection breaking has some of the best timing I've ever seen. Over and over again, does your ISP somehow know when people approach your mining ship? I'm also not sure if it's your character, though the admins could check into it, it was very convenient that an Outcast gunboat would suddenly appear in system each time you F1'd. Admin Notice: Player sanctioned - Cannon - 03-06-2010 Ah. I missed this one. It wasn't your report pipboy but the behaviour is the same as you describe. GunslingerRoland, you are disconnecting the moment a 'red' ship appears in range. This is not acceptable; it never has been. I will PM you the evidence. |
