Earlier today GMG paramilitary forces intercepted Kishiro|KTS-Hong-Kong, captained by Jung Hoon Han, in our space with a full load of Artifact in the cargo bay. Puzzled by this unexpected sight our paramilitary wing escorted Jung Hoon Han and his ship to Aomori and contacted me about the situation. I took the opportunity to come out and meet the KTS Hong Kong and inquire about his sensitve cargo. Jung Hoon Han explained to me that, unfortunately, his ship was hijacked by Corsairs in Sigma-13 while on their way to Rheinland with a delivery of optical chips. To our embarassment the Corsairs were able to make off with both ship and crew and broght them to Crete. From Jung Hoon Han's retelling half his crew were killed and the rest spared only if he'd return with those artifacts as a "tribute" to bring to you the Emperor. We were thankfull that his life was spared and that at least half his crew were able to make it home. The shame we feel that even half his crew has perished was large indeed but we felt that there may be still an iminant threat. Upon hearing his story I asked that Jun Hoon Han dock his ship with Aomori so that he and his remaining crew can recompose themselves after such an ordeal, but more imporatantly to scan for any threat to your security within this "tribute". It would be an even further dishonour to find out that the Corsairs placed an explosice device, probe, or any other form of security breaching device within their proposed cargo to be brought to your court. We take our guardianship against the Hispanics pretty seriously and knowing the treachery of the Corsairs we had to make sure the Cargo was safe beyond it's unusual contents before letting it cross into your space as a potential threat. The cargo has been completely scanned by our security on Aomori and appears safe of any visible signs of threats. After a medical and refreshement the KTS Hong Kong, it's crew, and entire cargo has been released. I highly recommend that the Imperial Guard intercept the ship and run it through their check up before it reaches you.
