712th St. Golden District, Honshu - Exsiled_one - 03-03-2010
The Golden district, business district for most advanced companies and offices on the Honshu planet.
Buildings breaching the cloud heights spawn one to another, leaving proper amount of space to maintain the traditional privacy on the higher floors of the buildings.
On 712th Street lies Kishiro Technologies HQ and private accommodation of it's current CEO - Hokani Matsuo. The very advanced and modern building yet as traditional as Kusari itself, it is obvious that Kishiro Technologies fight daily to combine modern technology with the strong respect for the traditional values of Kusari. With mountain like design, the building itself hosts many offices and meeting rooms and no machinery whatsoever. The productions of Kishiro Technologies are obviously not here as entire building was constructed to bring pleasure to the eye.
The view is breathtaking and the streets are kept clean. The building is clearly kept in its tip top condition and people seem to run around the lower levels 24 hours a day. Indeed, the building itself is never asleep, as much as the remaining of the Golden District. Yet the flight lines and spaceflight lanes are directed away from the District itself, offering the feel of nature in the great hazard of technology.
As the "mountain" gets taller, the offices and private residences are smaller and smaller but much more private. Exactly on 63rd floor, Hokani Matsuo is eagerly waiting, with a handful of maids and servants, both Emperor Jien Kogen and the Council of the Rising Sun as well as Gas Miner's Guild representatives.

As the visitors arrive, they will be escorted with an private elevator directly to
the Penthouse levels where they will each be offered their own room and set
of servants to take care of the most needs they have.

effect. Studies have shown that Kishiro Technologies high ranked
personnel take a great pride in the view "from above" making
them feel superior to their clients, helping them in their day to day tasks.

a perfect workspace as well as a place to be during the lunch hour.
The actual comfort of being in the same building for the full duration of
the working hours, as well as enjoying the "downtime" in one of many
simulation and recreation centers on the floors below greatly increase
productivity. It is rumored that some workers actually never leave the
place, working even during their downtime, simply because the constant
surround of working environment stimulates his desire to contribute
As time slowly passes, Hokani is nervous. He is waiting for the esteemed guests and will great them each with a joy on his face once they arrive. He has received information that Emperor's Yacht has been sighted in orbit of Honshu. The GMG vessel is arriving as well. A joyful day indeed. Looking at his nails once more, he makes sure everything is perfect.

Ichimoto Nokazaki and his private guard arrive outside of the Kishiro Tech Building in an armored personnel transport. The vast architectures of the Golden District are overwhelming for a traditional Guildsman. Many rarely ever set foot on the soil, living out their lives in confined space and artificial gravity. Nozaki is fortunate enough to have a family in a small fishing village, yet he is very unfamiliar with the urban landscape.
The Guild Master checks in on the first floor, and takes an elevator alone for what seems like an eternity before he finally reaches Hokani Matsuo's private accommodations. He leaves the elevator and seeks out his host.

The Emperor's convoy arrived at the Kishiro building, several Imperial Guard Chimera's and the custom Samura Yacht that had been built for the Emperor. As the Yacht landed, the doors opened and several guards disembarked and took up positions by the entrance to the building. Finally the Emperor came down the steps, his long golden kimono flowing in the wind behind him. With several staff members behind him, the Emperor entered the building and headed for the lift.

Hokani stood there in his traditional robe, and with a
customary bow he greeted the GMG representative.
"Konnihciwa. I am very honoured that you have
made it. Please join me in the relaxing parlour
before all of our guests arrive."
The small sleek designed but easily hidden wall panel
got lit then, and Hokani accepted the call. Seems like
the Emperor himself is coming up the elevator. He
looked towards Ichimoto and smiled.
"It seems other guests are arriving. Please, enjoy,
relax until I greet the other guests"
He hurried towards the elevator then, expecting the emperor.
Before the doors of the elevator opened, Hokani straighten out
his robes and made sure everything looks perfect. He offered
a deep bow to the Emperor
"Your Highness..
The GMG representative is waiting in the next room.
Will any of the council members be joining us today?
If not, I suggest we join the GMG representative."
He straightened out his robe once more and suggested towards the room.

As Raikoke stepped off the luxurious atmospheric craft that brought her to the "Mountain" after she finnished her visit in ancestral lands. She looked up and marveled at the engineering feat it must have taken for this massive building to stand so solidly despite the gravity.
Gravity
She couldn't help but notice her steps feeling heavier. She shook off the notion, she's too used to low gravity environments, Honshu gravity is doing her legs good. Eager to get to the proceedings the diminutive statured woman looked up at the Kishiro representative and smiled as she gestured for him to lead the way to the elevator.
She braced herself for the feeling of vertigo she always gets from high elevations on a planet.

Hokani and Emperor walked in the room together,
where Ichimoto Nokazaki already found comfort.
Hokani was about to speak, but then the blue discrete
intercom buzzed again and Hokani gasped.
"Another guest has arrived. Emperor, please
make yourself at home."
He offered one more bow before heading out to
greet Raikoke.
"Guild master Raikoke, always a pleasure. Please,
come, your colleague and Emperor himself are already
waiting in the next room."

Nozaki left his position by the window to greet the Emperor. He swiftly cupped his fist in front of his face and bowed respectfully.
"Your highness," he said keeping his gaze at their feet and his head below the Emperor's, "I am honored to be in your presence, at last."

Kogen bowed deeply at the men, and then with a sweeping gesture he guided them to the seats. "Gentlemen, Konnichiwa, let us sit, and we can have some tea and discuss how to move through this treaty, as well as get to know each other a bit better."

Nozaki sat at the table with the Emperor. A servant offered him some warm tea, and he graciously accepted.
"Your highness, has Hokani-sama forwarded the draft of our proposal, titled 'The Treaty of Aomori?'"

The petite lady known as Raikoke stepped in closer to the table of the resplendant room and bowed to their host Hokani.
"Konnichiwa my good friend, I am most gracious for your hospitality."
She then turned to the Emporer before her and bowed.
"Konnichiwa your eminance, it is an honour that you chose to sit at the table with us."
Sitting down at the table, Raikoke accepted the tea with a smile. Holding the cup with the thumbs and index fingers of both hands she raised the cup and took a sip. Her clear approval of the arromatic brew was evident in her closed eyed expression that yielded a satisfied smile.
"Such an absolutely wonderful flavour, my compliments Hokani-san, I must remind myself to set some more personal time. It's been all to rare for me to sit for tea. Arigato."
