I know my nes idea is not really one that would modify the mod itself, but as it would induce a modification of this very part of the forum, it drop it here.

What about the member of the community who have an idea doing two posts? The first one, a normal post here, in this section, for debate with the community.
And then copy his post in another pinned thread in this section were there would be no appreciations, no argument, nothing but the various ideas of the various members of the community.

I know admins are not sentients machine and they obviously cannot be bothered to pay attention to this entire forum (considering how big it is). This pinned post would then help the dev team to have all the current suggestions in one single thread, that wouldn't ever get lost down the pages.

(I realise my english still has room for improvement .. if that post is not clear, just say so, and I'll try to re-write it).

Ok, the way I see it is this. Please remember that this is a rough guess as I don't really know how the dev team works. It would waste time by having them look through people ideas only. I think the dev team would like to look through the various comments and see if the idea can be improved upon before it even goes into the mod. Now you see, one thread containing two things is a lot easier to sift through rather then two threads with one being worthless because it contains the very idea posted in a thread. Really, if they wanted to see what ideas were going around really all they had to do was look through this forum until they came to the point at which they found where they were up to previously. Instead of archiving everything by having two separate threads with virtually the same things in them we have a whole forum filled with ideas and comments that one can access without having to do to much searching. Also, if the idea gets lost down the pages then the chances are that they have already thought about this idea and have either disregarded it or are going to act on it (so they'll have it bookmarked anyway).
