The Liberty Gubernatorial elections are all but over, and in a series of shocking upsets, President James Powell's Progressive Conservative Alliance has taken a major blow, losing the Governorship in almost every system.

The PCA managed to barely maintain their grip on only one system: Pennsylvania, where incumbent Sebastian Guillemot held his position despite opinion polls showing a huge drop in his popularity. Guillemot and his fellow PCA members hailed this as "a victory for common sense in Pennsylvania".

In California, however, the PCA were swept out of office in a landslide by former President Barbara Jacobi's Liberty Reform Party, with LRP candidate Sarah Conway easily wresting control of the system from Progressive Conservative Governor Oscar Hurford in the first of a series of humiliating PCA defeats. Former President Jacobi and the LRP have called this a "great step forward", and polls show Liberty Reform leader Jacobi is currently the candidate to beat in the Presidential elections later this year, with a wide lead on her closest competitor.

Meanwhile, the newly-founded Populist Reform Party have campaigned to an easy victory in Texas, with candidate George S. Walker taking advantage of Texas' poverty and position on the front lines of the war with Rheinland to oust the PCA from office. In his speech, Governor-elect Walker promised to "serve and protect the people of Texas", and is already seen as a hero of the common man.

Perhaps the most incredible story of all comes from the oft-neglected system of Ontario, where an overwhelming ninety percent of voters chose none of the candidates on offer, instead writing in votes for former head of the Ontario Democratic Party, Alvin Katz. Katz, who had previously announced his intention not to run, has maintained his inability to govern the system, instead delegating the responsibility to his right-hand man Thomas McLachlan. Though the ODP will not take part in the Presidential race, and secession is firmly off the agenda, it seems the people of Ontario have not forgiven the Powell administration for what took place in the system several months ago.

Finally, Colorado is a system in crisis, torn in half by a protracted battle between the Populist Reform Party and the Progressive Conservative Alliance. With the result still unclear, the campaign has turned ugly, with accusations of cheating and voter fraud from both sides. These will undoubtedly continue until a definitive winner is decided, which in the meantime leaves Colorado caught in limbo.

There now remains only one gubernatorial race to contest - the vital New York system, where it's still anyone's game. Who will come out on top in this last contest before the race to the White House? Stay tuned to LPAN, for all your election coverage.

One year ago, Citizen Katz articulated a theme that would sum up this high point for Ontario, in this, our election triumph.

Service *stops reading*

I am sorry, I have no doubt that these words are heart felt, but I didnt write them *tearing up the cards* And I am not sure that I err

The truth is, none of us expected this. None of us entered this political campaign, we didnt fight, we abided by the terms of the *emotion tinges his voice* of what we were required to do after Martial Law in Ontario.

Citizen Katz, its a name that struck a resonant chord with the people here, he spoke about Ontarian needs, Ontarian thoughts, and Ontarian Rights.

I was with him during his campaign, I was his deputy in the Party, and I stood by his side when he made the descision, one he hated, to leave this system to end the violence and allow these elections to be a reality.

Whatever his initial reasons for coming here were, I know those reasons changed. I know this because I was there to see them change. Ironically it was during a hockey game, here on the station. I was err in that crowd it was not an easy day for any of us.

As much as it shook me, it rattled Citizen Katz to the bone.

One night, during his imprisonment after he surrendered, during the long nights during his trial. I sat with him, Planet Huron out of the porthole.

This huge red world with this equally huge presence. And I looked at this man, who was sitting serenely staring at it. And he said to me

All of this is ours, this is a part of our nation, and our heritage.

And we carried that message.

Whenever asked, what is Ontario? I never had to search for an answer, because I knew, I knew that the question itself is the answer. And to those that live amongst us, and they do live amongst us, who say what is so special about being Ontarian that we must struggle to preserve it? I say:

For shame, For shame.

I will buy you a ticket on a ship, or a mining truck, or make them stand on the deck of the battleship Ottawa or I will fly them to Dryden, or Thunderbay so that they can look back at their own nation and see it for what it is beautiful.

We are this system, we are always moving. We are not set in stone, for stone can not endure. And the only thing that can endure is change, the ever whirling wheel of change, and we are not finished, we are not nearly finished no, we are not remotely finished.

No Sir! No Sir we are not Finished!

Ontario has spoken, Ontarians have spoken. About our future, the future of Ontario.

And in that resounding voice, we have stood up and said we are ONTARIAN!

Aspen Heights Denver- Colorado, Liberty

A few gentlemen, campaign workers, were sitting around the Aspen Height's Metrodome Theater where the debate had reached it's climax. Aspen Heights had within the last decade the worse crime rates even know as the "Bloody Picket," riots. The city has come along way since then. Before it was PCA's turn to talk at the debate representatives talked among themselves. Accounts as following....

Bob Yorks: "What these people are about is expanding this wars; Former secretary of Foreign affairs now largest political support for PCA

Jimmy Tambilin: "Bob PRP wants to explain this war, the People want out of it; Current Secretary of House census

Sara Baus: "People don't know what they want, they'll believe anything giving to them just as long as it feeds their wants, they could care less about their needs or the needs of others; Lead campaign director.

Bob: So what is it are we going to do?
Sara : Win Colorado and keep these PRP people on the low-end.
Jimmy: Yes, but there message is popular with the new voters. They seem to hit the youthful I can live forever crap. They could throw all of us into the den of lions and not even blink.
Bob: Yeah, hey who is covering this debate?
Sara: Paul.
Jimmy: Paul.
Bob: Paul?
Jimmy: Yep, the new guy lucky us right?
Sara: Well get Paul the on stage he is up.

Paul a young man only 23 lawyer out of Debut, Denver. Selected purposely for he had lived on Colorado for his entire life. The entire staff and supports stand with him in hopes he delivers the speech straight to the hearts of the people of Colorado.

"Aspen Heights Declaration"
by: Paul Ryan

"Greetings, People of Aspen Heights. Today is final debate for which our great liberties as Libertarians can enjoy. The power within ourselves to choose our future. As we look today, Liberty's future is up for a very big turn around. With the war our Administration has made efforts to spread work around, especially to Colorado. Our ministration has too opened munitions plants all over Denver. And because of this war time, only Liberty Citizens of 20 years or born can work in our plants. We opened new branches in the National Guard giving more opportunities for young Colorado men and women to serve while getting a income. Our very own Colorado Rangers have taken over most of the patrols in Colorado give this a more pure system.

The PRP party wants to close our boarders, they want to make ourselves "Self sustaining," what they don't tell you what costs it will be! The cost will be COLORADO! It is so naive that they would say Self Sustaining when Ageira is Colorado's only support. If you close the boarders Ageira will leave us Colorado. Too PRP wants to throw away our Ally's and leave them alone and leave us alone, leave YOU alone to fight off the wolves. Bretonia is our only Ally by treaty, and if we lose them as our friends we may lose the war. PRP thinks they have the answer for this "expansive war," what they fail to realized that this is a defensive war. We were attacked, Feb 13 816AS by a Rhienland terrorist. Thus we have this war. It is not in our interest to grow this war beyond what has already happened. They want to progressively make this war bigger, and draw our funds reserved for welfare programs for the homeless, and unemployed! They are so willing to play war but neglect to be father to their hungry son. They are willing to cast your concerns out to make them more powerful, This is a Republic! People give power to the Republic!

I say to you,

Stay the course Colorado, straight and true Stay the course. When dark times falls and famine takes us Stay the course. We know better day's lay ahead, and sunny skies are above, Colorado stay the course. Cause only when we stay together going one way can we make a difference. Colorado is not taken by what monies we have or don't we at held by the pride of workers that stood the course and now I ask you as your fathers did, Stay the course.

Thank you,"

Paul exits the stage but not saying a word to anyone else and leaves the building.

The hotly contested New York gubernatorial election has come to a close, and in a surprise victory, the Progressive Conservative Alliance has lost yet another system - not to the Populists, nor the Reformists, but to the recently-founded Justice and Constitution Party, headed by Mike McCormick.

In a landslide victory, PCA incumbent Robert Adams was swept from office by fresh-faced JCP candidate Hillary Smith-Ward, who stood on a platform of "openness, reform and security" for the people of New York, and gave the party their first foothold in the Presidential race.

Now, with Colorado still deadlocked and the Presidential election in sight, who will come out on top in this unprecedented four-way battle? Can President Powell beat the odds and keep his position? Will former President Jacobi maintain her lead and regain the Oval Office? Can the Populist Reform Party's Eugene Debs oust them both, or will Mike McCormick come out on top? Stay tuned to LPAN for all the exciting election coverage.

George S. Walker's acceptance speech:
"People of Texas, thank you for your support to our cause! Our great system has seen its share of hard times, and you, the people, the vital force of our system, have proven yourselves resilient! I commend you for this, yet I must ask more from you for the tough times ahead. I will do everything within my power to return the government to the grassroots, to make it responsive to your needs. There can be no doubt that the system has failed you before, and yes, it fails you today as well. You go to sleep at night, and you need but look up into the sky to see the prison station hanging over your head! What kind of society is this where a man must sleep beneath the hulking presence of a penitentiary?

"No; I will not stand for it. No; you will not stand for it! For too long our system has been a dump for the rest of Liberty. The big prison. The big debris field. Junkers and Rogues spreading, like disease-ridden rats, throughout the garbage left by our mistakes that we have not owned up to. And now we find ourselves under attack. Liberty fights an ongoing war with the House of Rheinland, and what is the first system in their path? Who will take the brunt of the foreign charge? Not California; not Colorado; not New York; us. And what will they say about us? That we laid down and gave up? Or that we rose up by the work of our hands and fought back the invasion, pushed them back through Bering and Hudson, back through Hamburg! Who will lead the charge into their space?!"

Cheering is heard; Walker has whipped the crowd into a frenzy, a regular demagogue.

"The government is answerable to us. I am answerable to you. It is my job to serve and protect the people of Texas, and I will take my job seriously. I will not surrender, I will not compromise; you will receive what you deserve. A return to the days of Texas when a man didn't have to worry about the Police knocking down his door for nothing. A return to the days when patriots were not judged as terrorists. A return to the days when a man could work, view the labor of his hands, and go to bed at night with a sense of pride in a job well accomplished and a fair wage to provide for his family. A return to the days when you, the people of Texas, yes you! had the power!"

More cheering. Walker steps off the podium. The feed cuts.
