*As the video-feed goes active, an average man is seen, standing on the bridge of what may be recognized as a Conference class ship. He is average in appearance, with blond hair, and blue eyes. His skin is typically pale, like many full time spacers. The image begins to play:*

Greetings,

My name is Captain James Rock.

I'm an independent Zoner, who mostly minds my own business. For work I defend our ports from nomads, and hire my ship out to Scientists who wish to do research in areas normally too hostile for unarmed science ships.

This latest batch had hired be to examine a few planets in nearby star systems, something about searching for ancient civilizations, or some such thing. I'm not a scientist, so I didn't really understand much of what they explained.

Unfortunately the Redemption, my Conference, has seen better days. Thanks to a recent Nomad attack, her hull and infrastructure is damaged beyond hope of repair, and several people were injured in the attack. Thankfully no one was killed this time.

I've seen a ship that I believe can serve as her replacement, but I require your services to make this possible.

As such, I'd like to request the purchase of a Hathor class ship. Naturally, I can arm her myself, and supply my own systems, I know quite a bit of the equipment you folks use is higher end and quite restricted.

I hope we can come to an amicable deal, where we both walk away happy. And before I forget, as a Zoner, I naturally promise not to use it for anything daft like pirating. Keeping nomads at bay is quite dangerous enough, thank you.

At any rate, I appreciate your consideration in this matter, and hope to hear from you soon.

Captain Rock, signing off.
