** Report #5674-KA-468 ** [color=#FFCC00][font=Fixedsys]All the news thats fit for you, this is the Colony News Service! Good day Ladies and Gentlemen, Today we visited Baltimore Shipyard in New York, where the repair of an old Luxury Liner is just being finished. The vessel was in service for the Orbital Spa and Cruise for a long time before the sold it to a man called Daniel Mitchell. [font=Verdana]Mr. Mitchell not only repaired the ship, but has made a lot of improvements and features, to make this fine piece of technology capable of serving people for a long time to come. The new ship was in need of a new name, which was chosen by Mr. Mitchell. The ships new callsign is Jamaica, and it will remain in service for the Orbital Spa and Cruise. Unfortunately the ships computer core was damaged by the teeth of time, so most of the information stored on the hard drive is lost, but Mr. Mitchell promised that the Jamaica will be ready for its first flight within a few days. Nowadays, when pirates make bigger threat then ever, defense is important for every ship, same for this one. For this matter, weapon systems were also reconditioned to suit the ship better. Armor plating and advanced scanner systems can also be found on board, since Mr. Mitchell wanted to make the ship one of the most well equipped liners to date. And we can say that he did a good job. The vessel also got special headlights to make it stand out from the other ships of the same class. [font=Verdana]More information can be found about the ships first flight and all services, rooms and so can be found on the Neural Net. Thank you for being with us today, back to the studio. **Searching for: Jamaica ** **Data found** ** Opening Data** ** Audio file starting, visual effects attached** [font=Century Gothic]Welcome to the commercial page of Orbital Spa and Cruises new Luxury Liner, Jamaica. My name is Daniel Mitchell, captain and owner of the ship. Let me tell you a few things about this vessel and the services offered on board. The ship has been rebuilt after parking on Planet Manhattan for more than 4 years. During this time, rust and dust started eating the ship up, so there were a lot of things to do. Not sparing money and time, we rebuilt the ship and also made it one of the most advanced and equipped ship up to date. As we get on board the ship, we find ourselves on the Economy Deck. This floor of the ship is one of the middle sections, designed for the working class with lower wages. This doesnt mean that luxury is missing from the rooms located on this deck, but they are nota s well equipped as the ones in a higher price category. Most rooms come with a double bed and a possibility to put one extra single bed in. All rooms have their own showers and toilets as well. All rooms have all necessary household equipments included. On special request, room service can be arranged to the room, for an additional price. Room prices: 200.000 credits / person / flight No extra bed or Room Service included + 50.000 credits /extra bed request + 100.000 credits if Room Service is requested Room service includes 24/7 drinks and food service from the bar and in-room massage session. Below this deck are the cargo compartments and the engine rooms. Fuel and other supplies are also stored at the bottom of the ship, and for this reason, the armor plating was hardened at these areas. If we take the one of the elevators, we arrive to the Business Deck. This area is designed for the wealthy businessmen and women, who are used to luxury and are willing to pay for it. Rooms on this floor are bigger and more equipped then on the Economy class and Room Service is included in its price. There are 35 rooms on the Business Deck, 20 of them come with one double bed with the possibility of adding two single beds, and 15 rooms are equipped with two double beds for larger families or friends travelling together. This deck also has a direct entrance to the Services Department of the ship, where guests can relax and enjoy every minute of their travel. Room prices: 750.000 credits / person / flight No extra bed, double-bed Room 1.250.000 credits /person/flight 2x Double-bed Room + 100.000 credits extra bed requested Room service includes 24/7 drinks and food service from the bar, in-room massage session and laundry service. On the highest part of the ship, just below the bridge is the VIP deck, which includes 6 rooms at the moment, only available for guests who are in need of special attention, like political or military leaders, company directors and so on. All rooms come with a Double-bed with additional beds possible to be placed, but this request is not usual. These rooms include everything a person can be in need of during a holiday travel. Because of this, prices are quite high, so only a small group of people can afford this. But for this, they get free entrance to all facilities on board and special reserved places in all catering area of the ship. Room prices: 2.500.000 credits / person / flight + 500.000 credits /extra bed request Room service includes 24/7 drinks and food service from the bar, in-room massage session and free entrance to all leisure facilities. As we leave the VIP Deck, we arrive to the Leisure and Service Deck, however its not only located on one deck of the ship. We are proud of the multiple facilities available on board. We tried to gather all facilities to satisfy everyones needs. First off, we are proud of our restaurant which was completely rebuilt and is now offering five star services for the guests on board. For VIP guests, an isolated area is available inside the restaurant to evade all type of difficulties and nuisance. If requested, special menus can be set for special occasions, since the Chef is always open to performing wonders in the kitchen and to please his guests. After a nice meal, nothing is better than having a drink. This is why we built a Bar on board the ship serving the best quality of beverages and alcoholic drinks from all over Sirius. We are planning to make parties on weekly basis for all generations in the Bar and the Club area as well. On special occasions, private parties can also be organized by the staff. Last but not least, what is better after eating and drinking, then to lie on the poolside or take a dip in the water? This was the reason why we constructed a small aqua park and spa on board the ship, where all people, even the youngest ones can find their fun or their relaxation. Massage and saunas are also available to all guests during the complete time of flights. People always loved to play and gamble. We also offer the opportunity to make a fortune, or to loose a lot. For people who are fond of games, poker and such, we have separated an area on the ship where everyone can find what he or she is looking for. We have poker tables, slot machines, roulette tables and much more. If you feel lucky, you can always try, but don't forget to know your limits. Where many people are traveling together, safety is always high priority. Not only the danger of attacks, but conflicts on board, theft and such can cause chaos on board in a short time. To ensure the safety of all passengers and their valuables, a high performance and advanced security system has been set on the ship and with such, every situation can be handled in a short time. I hope we could wake your interest about the Jamaica and we can welcome you on as one of our guests. Until then, please visit our Neural Net site for special offers and booking possibilities. [font=Impact]*Flight log, Tour of Liberty , 11.03.818 - 12.03.818* [font=Verdana]The Tour of Liberty is a part of a large scale cruise series to help people discover systems of Sirius and to increase their knowledge of the colony, planets and stations, which are part of their everyday life, yet they don't know too much about it. The Series include the tour of all four houses and if there is interest for it, the tour of the Sigma, Omega, Tau and Omicron systems. The idea of trying to arrange a tour around Gallia is on hold for now, due to not being able to negotiate with the Gallic government at this time. Tour of Liberty is a two-day-long trip around the main Systems of Liberty. During our travels, we are trying to give the most information to people who are interested in knowing their home a bit more. For this reason, we have handed audio-logs out to all guests, containing all the information about each stop of the flight. For tourists visiting Liberty, the log is translated to all languages of Sirius. After loading all equipment, resources and ensuring that all passengers are on board, the "Jamaica took off from Planet Manhattan. Due to the recent commercials , more then 1900 guests have purchased tickets for this tour. Our first stop was right at our departure, Planet Manhattan. *Complete log of the tour with all audio-log files included can be viewed on the following page:*
1. Departure: Manhattan, New York System [font=Trebuchet Ms] Quote: *Audio-log playback initiated* [color=#FFFFFF] 2. Baltimore Shipyard, Ft. Bush Upon arriving on the trade lane, we were informed that pirate activity is high in the area, so we were escorted through by the Liberty Navy, so most unfortunate we couldn't stop here to continue the tour. With a bad feeling about skipping this stop, we moved on to our next waypoint. 3. Planet Pittsburgh Quote: *Audio-log playback initiated* [color=#FFFFFF] [font=Verdana]Upon returning from Pittsburgh, we were asked yet again to skip our stop at Baltimore, so we continued towards Texas. Since we do not poses any authorization from the Liberty Navy to give informations about their facilities and warships, we did not stop at Norfolk Shipyard, but continued straight to Texas. 4. Planet Houston , Texas Quote: *Audio-log playback initiated* [font=Verdana]5. Bering Jumpgate , LPI Sugarland [font=Verdana]We thought we could inform our passengers about the ongoing military actions between Liberty and Rheinland. This took place at the Bering Jumpgate, which was guarded by a Liberty Navy Dreadnought patrol at the time of our arrival. On our way back to New York we also passed by the LPI Prison Station Sugarland. Quote: *Audio-log playback initiated*[color=#FFFFFF] [font=Verdana]6. Planet Denver , Colorado Back from Texas, we flew through New York without any stops, and headed straight to Colorado, where we continued our flight. Quote: 7. Pueblo Station , Colorado [font=Verdana]On our way, we flew past one of the Liberty Navy's stationary Dreadnoughts, but due to before mentioned reasons, we did not stop there, but moved on towards Pueblo Station. Quote: *Audio-log playback initiated*[color=#FFFFFF][font=Verdana] Upon returning to New York, we served lunch for the guests on board and also begun arranging an event to help our guests enjoy the time while we are on the move. All other services were available as well. 8. Planet Erie , Pennsylvania With flying through New York and taking the trade lane through the Badlands, we arrived to Pennsylvania. Upon arriving , we headed straight to Planet Erie, where we continued our " history lesson " as one of our guests called it. Quote: *Audio-log playback initiated* [font=Verdana]After presenting the informations about Erie, we docked for the rest of the day, to refuel and restock. Takeoff was a little late next day, since the party was going on all night long, so not only guests but the some crew members were suffering form a hangover. Due to this, we were late a bit, so we had no time to loiter around in Pennsylvania, so as soon as we could depart from Erie, we headed towards our final destination. But first, we made a few stops in California. 9. Planet California Minor, California Since we did not want to cause any trouble with the Liberty Navy or the Liberty Police, we did not make a long stop at either of their stations, except Sugarland. For this reason, we moved straight to California Minor. Quote:*Audio-log playback initiated* [font=Verdana]10. Tahoe Ice Cloud Leaving California Minor, we decided to give some time for our guests to relax and enjoy their trip, there for, we headed through the ice cloud, not only to make the trip a bit longer, but to allow our passengers to enjoy the view. Quote:*Audio-log playback initiated* [font=Verdana]11. Planet Los Angeles Our last stop was planet Los Angeles, where we turned towards the Cortez System, also we celebrated the birthday of a lady amongst the guests, who was born on Los Angeles. Quote:*Audio-log playback initiated* [font=Verdana]12. Planet Curacao, Cortez Finally, we arrived to our destination, Curacao. Upon arrival, we celebrated the first flight of the "Jamaica". After landing, all guests gathered their belongings and left the ship with memories and souvenirs of the tour, and also received an invitation for our next trip, which will is planned to be in Bretonia.
