I'm here in the Tau-23 system. A large Outcast raid just attacked my Crane with a 6 cargo pods full of Food Rations, Water, and Mining Machinery. There are dead bodies everywhere. And my wife, my beautiful wife..sheshe was severely injured in the attack. She may not make it through the next few days. My son Russell is up there tending to her. God, this has to be very hard for him. A seven year old watching hundreds of people die. I dont know how he does it. He was in the midst of the fighting, yet hes passing it off as if nothing has happened. Anyways, the ship is badly damaged. My shields have very little power left in them, all turrents are offline except for 1 and Ive only got 10% power available for the engines. So basically, Im a giant target floating amongst the rocks going 15 km/s. The only place remotely close to here where I can safely land is Planet Harris, but thats a whole system away.
I should get back to the ship, were coming up on the Tau-31 Gate right now. Hopefully the BMM will see the state my ship is in and let me pass and not shoot at me like they usually do.
