Discovery Freelancer Canada - Kazinsal - 03-15-2010

Hey hey hey!

Discovery Canada, aka DiscoCan, is a new GC-like RP server hosted by your favourite ninja-tiger. We're the first Disco server that I know of that's bilingual in English and French (Canada's two official languages).

Our administrators are Kazinsal, Alex (yes, that Alex), and Dancing Lady (our French-language admin and overall French-language goddess).

We're not currently 24/7 (sorry) since we don't have a dedicated server. But the server is up often. Woo!

Visit the forums at http://discocan.elitecafe.org/ and sign up! The French-language version of the rules and in-game server messages are currently being worked hardly on by our wonderful Quebecois administrator, and we'll be fully bilingual... soon.

But for now, the server is GC-like in rules and server commands and such.

Have fun on the server!

I am from Ontario.

I would play, but the second someone started talking in french to me,i would think of my Ex girlfriend, and go all lolwut on their azz,and start killing at random.

By the way not all of Canada is bi-lingual, infact a large portion speaks no french at all. For example, I can speak, and understand french75% of the time, but cannot write it for crap.

Nah you'd just go on a rampage because you hate french Canadians like the rest of Ontario, I swear to god I know that for a fact last time I went for a course in Borden ( it's near Angus, like 15 minute from Wasaga beach.) Well you guys actually hate military people and I'm so unsure why, I went in BC, Alberta and they all are cool with us, but now a french speaking military guy.

Anyway to come back to my story, Has a ****ty english accent, speak french, cut hairs = hated in Ontario. So then everyone from Ontario hate french speaking canadians because of other people from Ontario that had bad experiences with us!

This is quite interesting, I may create a character there, just to RP and chill out.

I'm think about some thematic words: Alma, alcohol, incompetence, Quebec.

Or I could RP the annoying French canadian always passing his time in Ontario! XD

I'm definitely gonna play, just cause.

I meant to ask where the server was located, and whether there was anything I could do to help since I have oodles of free time.

Discovery Freelancer Canada - Kazinsal - 03-15-2010

The server's hosted on my box here in Langley, BC, Canada. Or, put simply, 50 km away from Vancouver.

Should be up now. Connection info is... somewhere on the forums. I think in the "Welcome to Discovery Freelancer Canada" thread in the announcements section.
