Discovery Role Playing Ideas - Profile - 12-05-2005

Well I had some ideas during my History Lesson today.

1) Create/Invent a new story , a new context what make the server more interesting again.
Because we're actually in the default Freelancer story and nothing is very interesting with this story.

2) Organizing games/activities in relation with the Server Story twice a month[=1)]

example: search and kill someone who's very important in the server story and who's played by a human player one night

3) Officializing Clans in-game: I mean we'll can see [AW] NPC like [NAVY] NPC or other

4) Weapons and other equipments could have different prices so we'll be able to trade it


5) Personnal Properties , bought on forum and built in the Universe Mensually or Bi-Mensually

6) Money generated by personnal propoerties will go to the owner


7) (This one is probably impossible) Production is dynamic. If there's not enough quantity of the Commodities/Equipment we want , we must wait or transport raw materials to make the seller be able to product the equipment/commoditie

8) Perishables Commodities are now Unperishables

9) Shipyards are selling Transports , Large Transports or Trains , Large Trains

10) Mining or Drilling planets & stations are now ONLY selling metals or minerals or fuel commodities and no other ones.


All those ideas are purposed to make the game more real and the server again more interesting

People who make servers o their own with our mod don't want NPCs with [AW] tags on them. H-fuel will be sold galaxy wide because transports are transporting them to those planets and bases we can buy them from. Perishable commdities are that way for a reason.

I do agree with the trains and tranports being at shipyards. Look at Ft. Bush in NY it has transports and trains sitting in it. If you want a different SP story then D one of the mods that adds new stories. Most of them should be compatible with Discovery. I do agree with the new events that have factions involoved in them. The AW/TG war could add some more events to the server but it looks like TG isn' strong enough to attack us. Plus I havent seen a TG in about 2 weeks.
