First model - Rommie - 04-04-2010

Well, this is my first real attempt to model a ship.All the other ships I modeled look like plants, or hamburgers.I had in mind the Raven's Talon, but I don't think it's good enough to replace it.And I'm still thinking at adding a top fin.
Constructive comments and anything that you think I've missed, please post.And I know its messy.

try make some textures for it. That can make it look way better, if done right that is

A texture is only as good as it's mesh, and a mesh is only as good as its texture. Both need to be done right to make a good model. I like the looks of it but there are a few problems with it. Near the tail engines there are some weird looking faces near the out rings. I would try to clean those up. It also need a cockpit.

Well, maybe it will be nice to tell us what the porpose for this model will be, im going to agree that its not the best replacement for awesome raven's talon that have no need in replacement i think. So, what is that? Also, maybe better to add some delails and cockpit to it, and also some texturing.

Good ;) for a 1st model, but you need to practice more if you want offer your ships for mods. Learn from tutorials or just experiment. Make ship after ship, not matter if they look bad of good, just create:DWell my 1st ship looked like these:

As you see it was not a good ship. It was never textured and is in no mod and never will be, compared with my last ship these 1st one is like a 10 years old child's work:D:DMentioned before, the cockpit, details and textures are missing...
