Look I know you probably worked hard on this, but gunboat is an equivalent of a heavy tank in my eyes and has nothing to do in service of the police.

Actually, a gunboat is the equivalent of a light patrol vehicle used as support for fighters. Think about the border patrols on a river. They use small boats but when it comes to stopping something larger, they call the big boys in a GB.
Or better, think about what the americans used in Vietnam... those river patrols and their well armed "heavy boats".

So you post your work here only to receive congratulations? It sure is sweeter to hear, but if you want ever to get out of being a beginner, start taking critics too. The engine texture is truly badly done and you've obviously spent very minimal efforts on it.
As to what is in game, I couldn't care less. Have them replaced if they are bad?

Criticism comes in two forms.
1. Contructive criticism "You could improve it by doing this, this and this"
2. Destructive criticism "your texturing sucks"
Had you worded your criticism as 1, then I doubt he would have responded as such.:)
Nice model anyway. I agree with Korolia though, I think the texture needs a bit of work. That saiud Im not a modeler, texturer or any such thing, so maybe an expert such as Korolia could offer some advice on how to sort that problem out.
