So I recently created a new ship, [TAZ]Shoes.for.Industry. Got it all set up, it's sitting in Baffin, everything's fine with that.
Now as I log in again, I see an odd thing on the character selection screen: Two of [TAZ]Shoes.for.Industry. One is listed as being a Kusari Explorer, rank whatever, in Baffin, etc., which is correct.
The other is listed as being a rank 0 Starflier in Pennsylvania with 8500 credits. The names are exactly the same. Even though I realized it had to be some sort of error, curiosity got the better of me and I logged on to the Starflier. I got a loading screen, and then I crashed to desktop.
Every time I log on with that account, the Starflier is still there.
What's up with this clone character?
