This message is intended for the Junkers congress and affiliates. Greetings good people, I am Capt. Garrick of the ship "LucrativeTransport.Inc.". I am sending this message to you today in regards to a recent marriage I've undertaken and some changes I've made in our ship. Me and my crew used to pilot a Borderworlds Transport, we're freelancer IFF and ID. Recently I have married into a junker family, I must say she is a wonderful woman and has won me over. Their father has given to me the care of their salvager ship to run my business through instead of the borderworlds transport. He felt we'd be safer with the better armor and weps and still basically have the same cargo space. I had agreed with him and sold our transport, have been carring on our usual work for about a month now. Me and the crew have recieved alot of interest from non-junker parties over weather we should be in such a ship. They are mostly pirates that we feel see the advantages the salvager offers us in protection and are trying to get us to abandon the ship going back to the transport. We havn't been pirated by them, possibly detered by the gunboat weps and battle razor. *laughs* To the point of the message, me and the crew are asking I guess formal permission to be using your salvager ship. We are purely transporters, from one location to another. We do not engage in hostile actions, and would purely just run cargo in the vessel. We've encounter junkers often, who don't say nothing to us, but thought we should see if their was any formal registration we should fill out for usage of the ship. This is capt. If you haven't been pirated yet, it is NOT because you are flying a salvager. You will find that ship goes boom just as easily as any other and very quickly if you are flying it without support. That brings up my second point. Why would you want to fly a salvager without the proper support? you seem to have acquired it honestly enough (sort of) and have married into a proper Junker family. Now if I hear you correctly, you want to collect the benefits of this marriage and then part company with us. If you are proud to be married into a Junker clan and flying the vessel of that clan, why are you reluctant to be flying under the flag of that clan? We aint pretty but we're proud. We like our traditions and we like to see them upheld. I know the ship was a wedding present, but one you don't need to accept if you won't uphold our way of life. This is a matter of pride for us. I'll contact you in private. Crow Out ****End Transmission**** To the Junkers Congress - Hawk - 04-25-2010 ****Incoming Transmission**** ****Comm ID: Arbiter Jack Crow**** ****Location: Yanagi**** After careful deliberation, this is what I have come up with. You claim that the ship is just another transport as far as you are concerned and you won't have to stick with certain Junker loyalties. Well that's easy, we don't have any loyalties. We're neutral. Now there are those who don't like us and work hard to keep us out of their backyard, mostly Kusari Criminal groups and Xenos. I guess you think you are going to avoid all that political nonsense. If that is your intention I suggest you find another ship. It may be just another transport to you, but it has Junker written all over it. Yes, it is a unique ship, but it's built with scrap pieced together. It has salvage equipment all over it's exterior and its own small smelter on board. You aren't fooling anyone while flying it. You will be treated as a Junker wherever you go. The Xenos will shoot at it for fun and the Hogosha will likely do the same. I'm sure your proud Junker father in law had the best of intentions when he gave you that ship as a wedding present. Considering everything that went into it's construction I'm sure he was hoping you would carry on family traditions while flying it. If not, then I'm thinking you should give it back. It's a Junker ship and we're proud of it. We're proud that it represents our way of life. It will continue to represent our way of life whether you want it to or not and I don't think it should be flown by someone who has no interest in our traditions. Signal source location: Dublin system Decrypting signal... ... ... 15%... ... ... ... 37%... ... ... ... 66%... ... ... ... 100% done. Greetings and salutations good sir, My wife, myself and the crew are disappointed by your last transmission. We will attempt to track down my father-in-law in regards to the ship. Seeing he tends to roam random debris fields, it may take some time to locate his where-abouts. We will give it our utmost attention to locate him. It is also a disappointment that the major houses, factions or families are all unwilling to work with freelancers trying to eek out a living. Zoners need haulers for their miners in Kansas but will only work with zoner transports for the most part. Same goes for most legitamate coorporations, they don't like hiring outside help either. It almost forces good people to work with unlawful organizations. They tend to not have legit transports and sometimes need them. I just hoped there was some arrangement we could work out. I've grown fond of this heap-o-rust with little claws. We've equipped it with some of the most advanced electronics we know about. My father-in-law won't even know how to operate most of this stuff now. *laughs* We will track him down and then acquire another borderworlds transport in the future if an arrangement is not possible. Please continue to juggle the idea or another possible solution. We will begin our search for my wife's father, hopefully we can work something before he is located. He only let the ship go with his daughter on board, it's really her ship we are just it's crew. This is capt. Garrick of the "LucrativeTransport.Inc." out. Transmisison ends.
