the sleeper ship scandinavia was built quietly and independently from the the alliance sleeper ships. the scandinavians, who had remained neutral throughout the war. after the blockade was destroyed, the Scandnavia followed the alliance sleeper ships. they ended up 3 systems away from bretonia. the house name would be Dansk (or something similar) and some of the major pirate factions would be vikings and berserkers. their ships would be smooth and rounded. in fact the battlestar (presumed to be alien) was actually an exploratory vessel that was in search of the other sleeper ships about 100 years back.

Dopamino, ignore them. It could be a great idea... just make the storyline a bit more detailed.

A longer time ago, there was an idea about making a Slavic house somewhere between Rheinland and the nomad systems. A mixture of old coalition and those who arrived in the sleepers and had slavic roots. (heh, seeing Polish names all over Liberty)
And a longer time ago, it has been stated, that making a new house from scratch will take gargantuan amounts of tme and work. A minimum of 3 new systems, each with a docakble planet and a few bases... optionally trade lanes and jumpgates. New line of ships, 2-3 new corporations, one pirate and terrorist organization for the house, military and police... Not to mention a whole storyline, backed by pages of rumors and news.
Don't get me wrong, I love every such idea (plenty of space for anything BIG west from the Taus) and gladly support it. But if anything like this is to materialize, it might take a while.

Plus, if they were neutral, which they weren't due to the war's scale, wouldn't they just have sat and opened 'Coalition Ikea' after they won?

A new cluster is much more interesting than systems added in the middle. It adds some sense of something new coming...
