Sabre Loadout - kuth - 04-27-2010

So, as the title suggests I need help with the load out on my Sabre. I have access to Krakens and Wyrms and the Inferno.

I know two roles it might be used for:

-Killing fighters/bombers
-Killing transports

If this requires two different load outs can someone suggest one for each?

What Spazzy said. Best Sabre loadout there is, sans codes.

EDIT: Choice of codes would be 4x EXCALIBURs. Don't get 4x ARCHANGELs. Too much energy-suckage.

1 kraken turret type 2
2 kraken type 2
2x sidewinder missile
2x cannonball missile
Inferno

if you just want to kill fighters/bombers, go for a deb turret and 3 CB + 3 SW and possibly a mini razor instead of the inferno.

Anti-Fighter/Bomber Loadout:
  • 6x Kraken Type 2
  • 1x Kraken Turret Type 2
  • Inferno
  • Nuke Mine
Anti-Transport Loadout:
  • 3x Kraken Type 2
  • 3x Imp. Debilitator Mk I
  • 1x Kraken Turret Type 2
  • Train Cruise Disruptor
  • Screamer Mine
P.S: First loadout is way better against Transports, but you can only use it when you're Pirating in Groups, so Someone else can CD the Transports if they want to run away, But for acting alone, second one is your best choice for a Fighter.

A combination of codenames and mk 1 Debs. Don't use inferno, mount a CD instead.

Ideal codename:Deb ratio - 2:1

If you get the missilewhore setup, 1 CD is all it takes for those 4 Missles to blow up in your face,
1 shot of
2x sidewinder missile
2x cannonball missile
will mean 26000 hit pts of hull damage exploding in your face and with that amount of damage you will not survive even with top armour and full health in the Best VHF!!

Get skills go guns only with an all Kraken Setup or equip 1 missile, Your aim will be better and over time with practice you wont even need an Inferno;).

Do not mount four missiles GL:sleep::sleep:
