Guten Tag Council,

Since war broke out between Liberty and Rheinland, the independent worlds are far from being a safe place, especially not for the civilians of Freeport 2. While I'm aware that the Zoners have their own militia, I also know that the Omicrons keep your hands busy. Which is why I offer our protection service to the Freeport 2 to protect it's population from the war. The Zoners of Bering and the Unioners share close bonds between each others, mostly due to our former squatting of the station, and we were loyal commercial partners for a long time. Also, long is gone the time where our organisation was based there, but it is part of our heritage, our roots. I believe that we owe you this at the very least.

ENGAGEMENTS FROM THE UNIONERS
1) Respect all laws of Freeports, including but not limited to the No-Fire Zone.
2) Enforce the laws on behalf of the Zoners.
3) Not to obstruct traffic if bypassers are pacific.
4)Act as escorts to Zoners passing through and protect them regardless of diplomacy.

DEMANDS OF THE UNIONERS
1) Remove Rheinlander Unlawfuls from huntable targets within Freeports NFZ as per the Treaty of Bethleheim. At the very least, remove the AGS as targets.
2) Consider the possibility of banning all Xenos from Freeports due to their Xenophobic opinions.
The terms can, of course, be further discussed. I await your answer.

Guten Tag, Ms. Blume,

Please excuse the ZA's delayed response. Per usual, we have many issues on the table.
We do appreciate your offerings for Freeport 2's security. The base for some time was put under scrutiny by both Liberty and Rheinland as a potential staging area for various factions and illegal trade. Fortunately, the trade part was taken care of.

There is one issue that few know about, the Treaty of Bethlehem and it's voiding. This was due to the fact that the former chairwoman, Aurelia Silvan, defected to Gallia's royal family and all laws made by her were voided. We did revise the Freeport laws, laws that you can read here on page 4: Freeport Law
Let me make this clear, no Rheinlander "Unlawfuls" were ever made targets by the Freeport management.

As for the Xenos, they are pretty infrequent there as it is a long way there for them and they keep to themselves. Until they create a major conflict there, we see no reason to ban them from there.

While we do keep a militia, it's spread pretty thin. I try sending one of my men there but due to a Rogue Ambush, he returned home. He wasn't hurt but he was so infuriated that he found it not worth the bother. I will see about possibly sending another ship.

I don't venture out there often, Ms. Blume, but if you wish to speak with me, I can make a trip out. Thank you for listening.

Ambassador John Henry Holliday
