AOM Research and Development proudly presents - RingoW - 09-23-2007 !!!AOM R&D present the brand new "Asgard Fighter Serie". Perhaps available soon. Ask your shipdealer.!!! For a closer look: http://www.screex.com?b=wvBFJ3IYEnc AOM Research and Development proudly presents - bluntpencil2001 - 09-23-2007 The three all look the same, but I like the style. Maybe some more variation, and maybe make the cockpit less Rheinland? AOM Research and Development proudly presents - mohr - 09-23-2007 They have a very distinct style. Good job! It is kind of hard to see the details from those pictures, however. Could we perhaps get a side/top/front image of each? Better yet, have them scaled correctly then compared. I look forward to hearing more opinions and seeing more pictures! Mohr AOM Research and Development proudly presents - Tortured_Soul - 09-23-2007 A quote spring into my head. A Will Smith quote. From Men in Black. Ah yes that's the one. 'I feel 's if am gunna break this damn thing' IMO, they look a bit flimsy, like the cockpit would be detached from the main body, and the wings would fall off from the slightest bent. Really I think they could with a bit of a beefing up. But that's just my opinion. AOM Research and Development proudly presents - Gamazson - 09-23-2007 ASGARD? Hey dab and Korrd get in here. Your opinions needed badly. Those are very insect like, kind of how the design on the juggernaut and your zoner BG was approached. Try changing the colour of the texture to match the Juggy. AOM Research and Development proudly presents - RingoW - 09-24-2007 First i want to say its a "Fighter Serie". This means they are looking the same almost. To use same components is also a matter of productivity. ("Never change a running system!") The main differences are in armament, armour, hold size and maneouveribility. In the shape they have small differences only, like number of engines, the whole size and a bit on the wings. The decision is yours. Some people like the design of a specific bomber, but prefer to fly an LF. So they have to make compromises. To fly the bomber or chose a LF which shape they don't like as much as the bomber ones. In my way no compromises must be made. If you like the design you can fly the type you prefer. These fighters are not in relation to "Asgard Warriors". Asgard has no copyright and to me it fits better to name the serie "Asgard", cause of the fighter names(LOKI, ODIN, Thor). They shall look Rheinlandisch, cause the first time i developed the design, my intention was to make an EF to be the "Wrath" instead of the sats boosted "Valkyrie". The sideview pics are to compare the differences in the size: AOM Research and Development proudly presents - Aemx - 09-24-2007 Heeeey, nice. very Romulan-looking:P AOM Research and Development proudly presents - Korrd - 09-24-2007 Yay! Asgardian ships! Very nice looking ships. They look like some sort of Zoner-Rheinland-Liberty/Order joint design. Definitevely the bomber would be the Thor (Or mjolnir), capable of striking hardly on opponents. The LF would be LOKI, a chaotic, impredictable moving ship. With great maneuverabilty and deceiving capabilities. Odin would be the HF. Chief among all HF's... AOM Research and Development proudly presents - Equinox - 09-24-2007 I like the idea of the AW having there own ships and to me they look like something they would fly:) AOM Research and Development proudly presents - MrSns - 09-25-2007 Yes i agree they look awsome, and i like the idea of AW haveing there own ship.:) |
