I'm not willing to spend a lot of money on this, but I really would like a joystick for myself.. for the PC, of course.

I played trough X-wing Alliance with mouse emulated joystick. It wasn't perfect but it was unbeatable in cheapness. Want me to dig my CDs for it? It was a bit hard to find on net.

I own a attack 3, and it has all the necessary features of a joystick without all the frills of a high end one(colorful lights and pretty Force Feedback)

Anything Saitek, They make good joysticks.

And yet again, another Attack3 User. I bought mine for 19 Eur at a commercial centre, more than one year ago, and despite intensive use and certain behaviour of mine that might involve breaking things upon hearing "Archer inbound!" and dyeing in Falcon 4.0 allied force, it's still as good as always.

14 buttoms + an analogic thrust control in a somewhat ankward place + 2 axis.

Ahhh.. uh.. Well I've never had a cheap joystick, I was an ******* and got an X52 and CH pedals first thing >_>'

But if I were to suggest a small one I'd pick the Saitek AV8R. Never used it but from the looks of it and a lot of its reviews, it's a solid catch.

Attack 3 Joystick, purchased it based on reviews online and it's lived up to the reputation.
Didn't want to waste a fortune as i'm not a huge flight sim fan, cost me $20 USD.

Got a Saitek ST90 Joystick, Quite simple. Used it for BF2. However, it doesn't feature rudder controls
