Server Time - schlurbi - 05-27-2010

I know the Server is in Denmark right now, so it should actually have the same Time as I have, but it is 2 Hours behind me, so the same Time as it used to have when it was in Czech.

So to everyone, especially to A&L Guy: Am I just confused, or should we change it.

PS@TheJanitor: Do you drink more Alcohol than Beer? Like this?

You are confused.
The physical old server is in Denmark. The actual server running the game is not in Denmark. It is in Germany. The time on the game server is correct. It is showing SMT - Sirius Mean Time.

By an incredible fluke of luck and coincidence, Sirius Mean Time corresponds to what we here on earth calls Greenwich Mean Time or Universal Coordinated Time (GMT / UTC). This means that SMT is equal to GMT / UTC, or British time in the winter.

If you ever have tried to take a train in Britain, you know them britons are at least one hour behind schedule in the winter, and more like 2 hours in the summer, compared to our trains on the continent - Ergo you can deduce that SMT/GMT/UTC is equal to Central European Time (CET) +1 in the winter or CET+2 in the summer time.

As for alcohol, I drink that far less than beer. But a good brandy, armagnac, single malt islay whisky, or even good vodka like Starka has been known to endow my palate occasionally.

I hope that clears up the confusion. Now can some one please tell me what time it is, I want to know if it is to early for a beer ?
