The TDR - jammi - 10-01-2007 ONE-: Faction overveiw Right. The TDR is a orginisation that rounds up the escaped mental convicts of Sirius, equipts them and lets them loose again. My idea behind this is that, with the sheer number of pilots in space, a few of them would have cracked and been 'taken in' to a mental asylem for processing. If you are one of the luckey few to have escaped the likes of 'The New Berlin Mental Recuperation Center' or the 'Liberty Benificial Institute.' we will pick you up and welcome you into the brotherhood of the unhinged. As you can imagine this will give you a rich RP experience unlike any other with huge potential for stories and in-game communication. So far my current members enjoy such experience greatly. Equiptment: -When you join, nominate the house you wish to have escaped from. Choose ships and equiptment from there. That house will be your primary base of action. -Anyone may use civillian ships/guns regardless of house. -Endevour to purchase a full hull upgrade. I will explain what to do afterwards. NPC allignment: : We don't have a NPC alligment with any CURRERNT faction. If in the future you can be alligned with the 'freelancer' faction, then so be it. For now be wary of who you attack, and who you do (or don't) attack should have good RP reason. All TDR players will have a Freelancer ID (with the next release of the discovery mod, you will be able to use the Freelancer ID after Lv 40.) whilst we should not stretch to allied with the police forces, we should remain neutral, otherwise we would come into obvious conflict with criminal forces. How to join, and rules of engagement -Stick to the server rules. Anyone breaking server rules will be kicked from the group. -You may not pilot anything larger than a VHF, I will see about bombers, but I don't think them nesicery now (We shouldn't be in a state were we need to take out Cap ships any way.) -You must have [TDR]- in front of your name. Current player llist: [TDR]-potato (liberty) [TDR]-Yak (liberty) [TDR]Alexius (bretonia) [TDR]-Wurst (rineland) [TDR]Shadow (Liberty) The TDR IS recruiting, and I will add the post to make our 'group' a faction once the RP server has been upgraded to the latest discovery mod. To join, PM me now, or contact [TDR]-potatoe in-game. I will give you the address to the forums and away you go! Money is incredibaly tight at the moment though, but as soon as I can get a trading character up and running this will be resolved. See you in space! Potatoe! (to be finished later) The TDR - Dopamino - 10-01-2007 why would crazy people organize with other crazies? The TDR - jammi - 10-01-2007 fellow comradeship? oops... I didn't explain about the [TDR]-T: If my members like the idea, I will introduce the [TDR]-T, or a trader wing. The 'T' are a completly sane group of businessmen who have a 'degree' of control over the TDR. They are funding them, have out them on a mission to find more like them- maybe they are shaping them for a 'greater mission.' But who knows? They are the 'Behind the scene people' The TDR - Dab - 10-01-2007 Okay, this isn't exactly against your faction here, but this has got to be what, the THIRD faction in as many days to be made here on Disco? And this one doesn't seem all that RP. Your freeing a bunch of mental patients. Anyone mental wouldn't be able to accomplish it, and if they aren't mental they would really do it. And I don't think mental patients could fly. Not slagging you, I just don't see how this could realistically fit in with Discovery.. The TDR - Fellow Hoodlum - 10-02-2007 If its an excuse to fly round being fairly stupid, then knock it on the head before you start please. The only 'successful madmen' we have had here have been solo efforts, and just around the New York area where roleplaying is not an important factor. Others may not get the point, and I'm struggling currently ... No tag or ID info there anywhere, and neutrality is a two way street. You cannot put everyone at that status without talking to every single existing faction leader. Flies in the face of the all other diplomacy here. Please think this over a bit more carefully. Hoodlum The TDR - Dopamino - 10-02-2007 ya, i really don't see this working. organized chaos is an oxymoron. The TDR - jammi - 10-02-2007 ... I'll rewtie it and see if it makes more sense The TDR - ghostcat - 10-02-2007 I have a thought, what if the mental institutions permanently add the TDR tag to patients neural net and ID? EDIT: Just realized It's TDR... and my char is TRD... agh. The TDR - Fellow Hoodlum - 10-03-2007 Right gents, have to be brutally honest here, not at all comfortable with this idea on the whole. If you were mental patients as a group, I would expect the authorities to have you sectioned and locked up, and the keys thrown away. Not be let loose with fighter ships, which I suspect you would be incapable of flying anyway. I'll leave it like that ... Hoodlum The TDR - Monk - 10-03-2007 Unlawfuls constantly on the run from police. Perhaps you could make it into a cult. I dunno needs a clear objective. |
