RE: Freeport 2 Pursuit

Guten Tag,

I am contacting you regarding a recent report of three Rheinland officers pursuing a Liberty marine into the Bering system and firing upon him right around Freeport 2. Normally, I don't handle cases out there but someone handed me this report.

Admiral Malexa Malte and FI. Thor Schlaechter along with Police officer Det. Markus Dietrich, were evidenced to be the pursuers as evidenced by this camera shot:

Those three and some patrols that were with them are shown somewhat to the right of his ship:

I do realize where Freeport 2 is, right in the center of a conflict but still, I think the fighting can be taken elswhere. I have also let the Liberty Officer know how I feel about this, drawing a fight towards a Zoner place of refuge. I wasn't to kind to him about that.

I don't seek any sort of compensation nor do I want any trouble with the Rheinland government as I do business there but I would like to prevent another such incident in the future. I thank you for your time.

ZA Delegate and TAZ Administrator

SUBJECT:RE: Freeport 2 Pursuit

Sehr geehrter Herr Doc Holliday,

The Rheinland Military is aware of the Zoners trying to establish a save haven for all individuals, Civilians or not. Rheinland respects the Freeport within Bering and the Zoner laws around the vicinity.
Even during the hard times of war the Rheinland Military tries to avoid any Civilian casualties, of Rheinland, Border World, or Libertonian origin.

Rheinland reserves the right to attack all Libertonian warships posing a threat towards the sovereignity of the Rheinland republik. All Libertonian warships being stationed within the Freeport orbit will be subject to immediate termination. Rheinland does not tolerate the Zoners providing the Libertonians a forward fire base to attack the Rheinland republik.

All Rheinland Military vessels have been ordered to keep a minimum distance of 3 klicks to the Freeport and no warship will use the Freeport as a base for their operations.

The submitted case was the elimination of a Libertonian scout possessing vital intel from the Hamburg system. The Libertonian aggressor in question chose to endanger Freeport 2 and all nearby Civilian vessels by fleeing towards the station.

Hochachtungsvoll,

Oberfeldwebel Hans Meyer

Guten Tag, Sir,

I understand your frustration and the Zoner Alliance will be looking into addressing military ships landing on the base. You can rest assure that no one of any affiliation is allowed to use the base as a staging area. The Liberty Rogues were long ago expelled from the base for that reason as an example.

In the meanwhile, I will see about getting a ship out there to monitor things a bit more even if it isn't a TAZ area of influence. I appreciate your patience and candor in this matter.

Yours in Eris,
Dr. John Henry Holliday
