Since Junker M26 Gunboats have they sold to local Mercenary in Coronado, Mercenary have built many more prototypes to be tested in its purpose, so that they can have their GB without any permission of the local factions ..

Mercenary's don't exactly work together much. But I don't see why the 'toolbox' can't be re-added as a corporately built merc/civi gunboat.

Do the Hogosha or Junkers have a gunboat yet? Why not give them one? It would make sense either way wouldn't it? Hogosha were given old Corsair tech since they are allies or the Junkers found the abandoned parts of one and started reusing them. Since people are so fond of the old gunboat I think it should be put in for some faction.

It's an import. Disco is cutting down on them, we just had that recently.
If it's getting reworked, it could get into the game again, but I wouldn't see the point in any civilian/mercenary gunboats. get a freighter if you need something with more cargo space.

Gunboats for corporate escorts, gunboats for Mercenaries and Freelancers to collect bounties, gunboats for people who want to travel without worry of NPCs, etc, etc, etc, etc.

I've always considered gunboats as warships. small ones, but still warships. That's why I can't really see them in the hands of a civilian.
As for the NPC-part: I always feel safer in a fighter who is able to simply dodge his way out. But I guess that's just me.

That pretty much concludes this thread.
There's been a discussion about the lunchbox becoming a Junker vessel not long ago, the final conclusion was that it's an import, therefore not fitting with the Discovery universe anymore. I don't see why this topic should end any differently. No matter how well this ship would fit, it still is an import.

First of all. It was a corsair used ship. No corsairs certinatly won't give up their ships for public use. Never ever.
