Humble request - Hack Iatkin - 06-04-2010
Greetings Elders, I am Hack Iatkin a mercenary originally from the Liberty systems currently engaged in the defence of Falkland base from the ever intrusive Outcast presence in Tau 37. Although I expect little sympathy from you for this I expect that you may think of Tau 37 as an invaluable second front that diverts much of the Outcast strength from your own spheres of influence. When I sleep at night I dream about imploding Outcast ships and when I wake I am thirsty to see more. I have never engaged a corsairs ship in my history and never will (regardless of the outcome of this request). My ship has no name it simply carries mine Hack Iatkin.
I require permission to use two of your tizona del cids to aid me in the defence of this hard pressed rock on the edge of Tau 37. The only opponents I ever face here are Outcast raiders my war is with them as is yours. In my encounters with the outcasts I am often confronted with large numbers of their fighters and the ability to drop their shields quickly, an ability that your tizonas have in abundance, is absolutely essential. There may be other weapons that can take shields down but the tizona in my opinion has no equal.
You may say I am a mercenary with alegiance to no one and perhaps you are right but my allegiance is wavering. I have made my home here at Falkland, I fight here, I live here. I will never work for the bounty hunters, I will never take up arms against a noble Corsair and if any of this changes I will inform you so you can review my permission to use these fine weapons. If you ever choose to revoke my permissions I will travel to Crete and hand the Tizonas over to a young Corsair with my blessings and free of charge. I only hope you will help me and the proud defenders of Falkland base to kill these Outcast raiders.
