Order High Command Mission Report - Crackpunch - 06-12-2010 -Transmission Begins- Greetings from Omega 3, Commander. I have stationed myself at Freeport 1 as ordered. I am reporting on the current events to ensure you can plan accordingly. Incident One: A Lieutenant from the BAF queried about my presence. I told him I was there to keep the system safe. He insisted I was a terrorist using "fake" nomad specimens as "proof" to scare the local traders. I told him if my intentions were malevolent I would have destroyed him by now. He agreed and left. Incident Two: A gunboat belonging to the SCRA was being harrassed by Corsairs outside Freeport 1. Seeing as both factions had ties to the Order I suggested they move away so as not to distress the Zoners. I did not want to get involved. The SCRA gunboat was destroyed, her wreckage thrown into the nearby sun. Incident Three: A bounty hunters guild bottlenose appeared demanding the release of my nomad cargo. I told him they were not his to take. He was interested in the events of incident two (as incident two and three were happening at the same time), so I took advantage of his lack of attention and destroyed the nomad cargo. He left irritated; I believe he would have engaged me had I not been in such a formidable ship. Incident Four: A bounty hunters guild bomber approached Freeport 1. He asked me what I was doing there. I replied that it was confidential to one such as himself. He then said he expected me to be much ruder considering my affiliation. I inquired as to why he was being so harsh. He replied because our employers were enemies. I told him that I wasn't hurting his business and he wasn't hurting mine, so there was no need to fight. He then told me that it was his business to hurt mine. This sealed his fate. I told him that he was an obstruction and I must move him. My gun-cam shows the results of the incident. So that is my report on the weeks events. Please tell me if I'm being too aggressive or lax. The channels change codes frequently, so I only managed to uncover one piece of information. They know I'm here and I bet they're going to do something about that. If they make a move to dislodge me, shall I comply or do I stand my ground? -Transmission Ends- Order High Command Mission Report - Tenacity - 06-13-2010 "Good work so far, though if I were you I'd have attempted to break up the Corsair-SCRA conflict, it doesnt bode well for us as the SCRA's allies when we wont help their ships and crews stay alive. As for the Rheinland Military plotting to force you out of the area... Rheinland has no jurisdiction in Omega 3, and it would be quite odd to see their vessels that far out. However, if they do make a move, stand your ground." "Admiral Staite, out." Order High Command Mission Report - Crackpunch - 06-14-2010 -Transmission Begins- A quick update on the state of affairs so I don't forget to add them at the end of the week. A couple of Corsairs were unhappy with me being in Omega 5 while I watched Omega 55 (which is a Das Wilde system) for threats. After a lengthy debate I agreed to leave to avoid causing friction between the Order and the Corsairs. The Corsairs were members of the Black Sails. The BHG struck at freeport 1. My ship was severely damaged and gun-cam footage is unavailable. The fight was between myself, two BHG gunboats and a BHG bomber. Other than the BHG's willingness to disregard Zoner laws on the no fire zone surrounding freeports or the fact that the BHG had to summon reinforcements to defeat me, one thing bugs me; the Joker, yes THE Joker appeared and assisted me but retreated after one BHG gunboat was destroyed along with the BHG bomber. I was already running low on nanobots and batteries when the Joker stepped in, so I was unable to defeat the final BHG ship. While patrolling Omega 7 the Rheinland Military approached. They were curious as to why I was there. I simply told them I was hunting Das Wilde. They seemed satisfied and told me I could continue my sweep. The Phantom known as Pitchfork appeared. I attempted to intercept but it managed to escape into Bretonnian space. I weighed up my options and decided the risk of entering Bretonnian systems would be worth it if I could catch the phantom. The phantom disappeared from long range scanners while I was in Cambridge, so I returned to my duties in Omega 3. While attempting to catch the Phantom the IMG assisted me but even with our combined might, the Phantom remains at large. I've noticed the BHG often travel either heavily armed or in groups through Omega 3. They are also quite violent, if I am to continue to work safely in Omega 3 I may need additional support, either in terms of funding or in terms of additional pilots. If the BHG continue to show hostilities like this I may need to upgrade to a cruiser class warship, however that would draw significant attention to myself, would this be a possible option if circumstances become dire enough? I am beginning to wonder why I am needed in Omega 3. I have not had any sightings of the Das Wilde, only bounty hunters. The Rheinland Military already patrols Omega 7 diligently, so if Das Wilde did appear I am sure they would deal with it. The only thing I seem to be doing at the moment is antagonizing the bounty hunters that pass through Omega 3. All of them have felt my presence as an intrusion, this appears to anger them very much. In an attempt to avoid angering them further I suggest I be sent to another part of Sirius with less bounty hunter activity and more nomad activity, we are after all meant to be fighting the nomads and not the bounty hunters. If I my presence is absolutely necessary I feel that the Resheph Reconnaissance Cruiser would fit my needs much better as I am meant to be observing rather than fighting meaningless battles with members of our own race. The stealth capabilities of the Resheph would help me remain hidden and its shear firepower would deter almost all opposition. I have investments from before my initiation into the Order which have been building a nice sum of credits while I've been away, I can fund the Resheph myself in necessary. This would most definitely spook the locals of Omega 3, so I suggest I be reassigned to a more hostile system where my ship's capabilities can be put to good use. -Transmission Ends- Order High Command Mission Report - Crackpunch - 06-22-2010 -Transmission Begins- I spotted a Samura pilot and two freelancer escorts "Collecting samples of nomads" in Omicron Minor and Delta. I confiscated the nomads and told them to be on their way. If they are seen doing this again I will engage on sight, I suggest all other agents be instructed to do the same as they have had ample warning. -Transmission Ends- |
