Radiation "pockets" in Omega 11 and in other systems - Strichev - 06-17-2010

These day everyone has his own fighter, which has, almost without exception an armor upgrade mk VIII. That makses old radiation zones and minefields completely non- hazardus. If I look back in the early days of FL, I was always "scared" by those dangerus systems, which were indeed hazardus. Now, every civillian can fly around the O-11, almost without danger. And don't tell me that ship tech. advanced that much in Sirius in these years.

So, make radiation zones and minefields as hazardus, as they were before, or even more. It will stop fleets from running around alone, without larger ships, to support them.

You know what the number one cause of weapons technology advances is?

War.

Nomad War, Bretonia-Kusari War, Liberty-Rheinland War, Gallia invading in the next version...

So yeah. I'm gonna go ahead and say ship technology advanced that much.:P

And this wouldn't do anything to make larger groups travel through there, it'd just kill activity in those systems. Hmm, should we fight/mine/trade where there'll be a multi-million credit repair bill if we survive, or fight in this system without the hazards? Nah, let's just go somewhere else.
