A Present for the Event - Scorpio - 06-21-2010

Alright, So, I decided to join in the event today, not having been in anything quite of this size i wasnt sure what to expect,
Whatever I thought i waas going to take part in, Nothing really prepared me for it
I got there far too late to do anything, as the ORDER where just finishing evaculating minor, The emotions that ran through me in the following moments were like hammer blows, Even though inRP in the main server the order are technacly enemies with Liberty, I felt, I don't know, Connection with the people in the event. It felt for all the world like i had had lost my home, After the event i sat down away from the pc for a few minutes struggling with this.
And then i relised that have never ever felt this from a game. A game has never before made me feel this. So. I thank you, Really i do. Thank you for being such wonderful players and conjuring these feelings through words alone

However, After the event was done, I began to compose a piece, It has meny aims. But primarly, the aim is to conjure part The feelings that were implyed by the words of each of you, It's nowhere near finished it's not mixed AT ALL, theres lots t've missed out or havent yet put in and the orchestration is a mess so I don't know weather it's worked, i would like to think it has, However, I leave that judgement up to you.

This is the link, the song name is Toledo Burns........Er ......Enjoy http://soundcloud.com/mr_question/toledo-burns It WILL be finished tommorrow at some point

I was close to quitting disco today beacause of the merc situation, after this event i don't think i could ever leave

[And yeah, i suppose this could be classed as werid, but I Can't help it:D]
Oh, if this is the wrong section, feel free to kill it:D

You have some serious talent man. Well done.
I get the feeling of an echo that will never go away, of something longed for, lost but never forgotton.

A Present for the Event - Magoo! - 06-21-2010

I'm digging it. Actually, this is magnificent.

Dude, you have my respect for whatever that's worth.

-Edit- And it gives the exact feelings that you described were your goals. You are awesome, truly.

-Double Edit- Oh, and I'm looking at your other stuff too. To Arcanus, at the moment. Equally as impressive, sir. I think you're my new unspoken best friend.

-Triple Edit- Never in the past six months have I had cause for so many edits! The Hill is also excellent.

A Present for the Event - Treewyrm - 06-21-2010

Thank you very much! This is what the event was about - to deliver experience to participants and lead them through the feeling like those of ruthless battles, tones of desperation and lot more.

If I may ask I'd like to use a part of that music theme for ending of animated short movie I'm working on for that event.

A Present for the Event - Sprolf - 06-21-2010

A Present for the Event - hack - 06-21-2010

The track is awesome.

I never quiet understood why the Order and Liberty went back to a less than friendly stance after the Nomad war, I think I need to research this some more and can hope things can improve in the future.
