To my defence:
YES, I admit the use of F1..
BUT, not out of bad game play on my part, not out of cowardes to fight or to loose my freight to a pirate..
A couple of things came together:
A pirate IDD (Ky-K...smthg) interrupted the tradelane in Cortez. Unfortunately he had a Freelancer IFF (neutral affiliation to me)..obviously those guys make use of that, so not to pop up red on the scanners.
The RP (if you wanna call it like that) went approximately like this:
STOP....Drop your cargo....you have 20 seconds....(me) I like to negotiate.....Do it fast.10 seconds....(me) 500k...you must be joking......(me) 1 mill.......no.....0sec....bam bam bam
Now..I am in a Hegemon, with 2 mining turrets, the rest would have been a match to the pirate transport, considering a higher power output of the Hegemon....but
" (me) sorry, telephone hang on " ...// not my problem..... then a fax came in, which changes screen to the fax SW... I had no chance to defend or further "talks". *Crappy RP...this guy should go play arcade games. I hit F1 to change char....my mistake.... I am sorry for that....next time I won't forget to turn off the fax...and I will fight.
This is the very first time any of my chars got sanctioned, and I have been playing for a long time.
Please may I have my money and weapons back
