This report comes just after a conflict in Burgundy, another victory for the Republique was assured by the brave men and women of both the Republique and the Maquis. Our forces managed to engage a Valor, an Obstinate, and a shortly lived Royalist Police pilot. Our forces were a mixture of fighters and bombers. We managed to destroy the Obstinate, and scare off the Valor. Never-the-less, the victory was indeed ours today. Uploading a bit of the communication chatter, and gun camera images. Bonjour Monsieurs and madams!
Today has been a great day for the Republique and the Liberation Movement. During a standard patrol from Macon in Burgundy, I detected comm chatter from the ships "Soup.&.Biscuits" and "Ives.Le.Charcutier" - at first, I received the impression that they were fighting, and was led to wonder if the "'Biscuit" was some form of rogue Council captain. After all, I knew Ives was the Captaine of a Valour class battleship from prior encounters. Then I picked up distress signals from a number Council patrols that were operating in the system. The pair were a duo of capital ships, preying on Council and Marquis fighter units. I immediately called for assistance from the main Republique battlegroup which had been running routine patrols in the Champagne system. Before long, I had traced the two errant capital ships to Planet Nevers, all the while trading insults with the Ives. The captaine of that particular Valour seems to have a particually noticeable inferiority complex, seeing as he immediately barked that he was an "Amiral" and not a "Captaine". It is not good when your entire self-worth rests on your rank, non? From then on, he was "private Ives" to me. They were joined by a second cruiser at Nevers, the RNS-Paris. Unfortunately, none of the Captaines were particularity capable verbally, with my rhetoric running rings around them. As we were to find later, their combat effectiveness would later follow suit. The main Republique task force arrived shortly, consisting of another bomber, and four fighters (including one Marquis Agama that was already present). The Valour had moved away from Nevers by then, in an attempt to intercept myself and the Marquis - a cruiser on each of it's flanks. They halted about 8k from the planet. At this point, the Paris initiated some devious Royalist tricks and dissipated. The battleship ordered it's crew to stand down, then opened fire regardless. As little as honour matters in space, that is demonstrating very little, non? RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: Surrender now and you and your men will live unharmed
Private Ives signalled the general retreat as the 'Biscuits' exploded. We had a wonderful time mocking him as he fled. Ironic that he described dealing with us as a 'piece of cake', as we destroyed the Biscuit, non? After this, we were ordered to regroup at Macon, at which point I landed. RNS-Paris: weapons online RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: I will repeat my offer. Ives.Le.Charcutier: all weapons set to hundred percent RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: Repent and surrender and you will find mercy. Ives.Le.Charcutier: Ives to all crew of charcutier: stand down. Soup.&.Biscuit: *weapons powering up* Soup.&.Biscuit: Crew to your stations 2010-06-30 21:06:52 SMT : RNS-Paris is attempting to engage cloaking device RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: We have given you enough time. Will you surrender? RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: End this peacefully, private. Ives.Le.Charcutier: well, how come that you havent brought binbers? Soup.&.Biscuit: what do we have here Admrial? a bunch of bombers? RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: You need not waste the lives of your crew. Ives.Le.Charcutier: it semt to be fighters Sir RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: *Sigh* You give us no option. Ives.Le.Charcutier: should be a piece of cake RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: Advance! Death: Soup.&.Biscuit was killed by a hostile vessel. Later on, units were scrambled due to action in the Dauphine system. I got there as fast I could, because of reports of capital class vessels in the area. The main engagement was between Republique units, with supporting [C] fighters against a force of Royal Police. Later, two cruisers and a Royal Navy taskforce were to arrive. One of the cruisers immediately bugged out, with the GRN|RNS-Martyr remaining. This being the infamous cruiser that evaded destruction at my hand previously, at the Battle of Djion. Of course, my blood was up, and after it opened fire on my wingmen, I had no recourse but to fire myself. The hallmark antimatter explosion of bomber weapons of course drew attention, with the Martyr's Captaine immediately ordering several GRN fighters onto my tail. Before long, the Police fighters were dispatched, and the fighters moved in to assist in my efforts against the Martyr. The team worked well, as the fighters dropped its shields, and I rent holes in it's hull. Eventually it was dispatched, and all forces were set on another target. From this point I received a lot of... Attention. Fortunately, inferior Royalist aim, and my own special evasive "trick" allowed me to get the better of them. Ruiz' de lu la Ramper lives to triumph again! Another combatant would have to be contacted to gain a perspective on the main body of the second strike. My attention was rather occupied by remaining alive and insulting the Royalists. Viva la Republique! "Faites un tonneau en spirale" ~Captaine de lu la Ramper. Archives militaire de la Republique - jammi - 07-01-2010 To: The Republique Militarie From: Captaine Ruiz' de lu la Ramper. CC: Civil victories. Today yet more victories were scored against the corrupt and self-serving Royal Police! This time, not through force of arms or the implicit threat of violence, but through cunning and wit. The true Republique way, non? After undocking from Macon, I ran a quick patrol around Djion's approximate area, finding the area devoid of activity, save a lone Vache Train. Given that the ship was evidently a civilian venture I cheerfully greeted him good day and passed on.
Upon returning to Macon, the comm operator patched a signal through to me, from the Sirian 'Bretonian' Charles_D'White. I did not ever meet the individual, however he claimed that he was a commander of the "43rd Bretonian VHF Infantry". I spent a short while explaining about the King's madness and how we were opposing him. At first he was not sure of our affiliation, so I was sure to enlighten him of our revolutionary ideals: RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: Ah, then it good to have you here! Our Sirian freinds are most welcome.
Soon after, a Royalist Police pilot gave an announcement over a system wide frequency. None other than Brigadier Leon Chevalier - a combatant of last night's battle, in which the Royalists were utterly routed. After this, the Siran had to take the back seat, as I turned my attention to the loud-mouthed officer. Charles_D'White: Your funny RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: Now, I trust you are here to lend assistance to the Republique? RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: After all, your Bretonia shall suffer if the Royalists can complete their schemes. Charles_D'White: Wait...so you are Council RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: Oui. The Republique. Charles_D'White: Got it RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: We are fighting to depose a tyranous and insane king, and install a republic of the people, for the people. RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: A noble goal, non? The following is the exact comm recording of the events as they transpired. I uploaded them to a separate data source on Macon in order to spare this server's processors. Listen carefully. You can hear the barely controlled frustration in his voice. Personally, I'm of the impression that the above should be printed into a pamphlet and distributed to our, ah... Young 'Resistance Fighters', so they can be given out to the peoples of Gallia. It might enlighten them as to how the GRP reacts under pressure. Monsieurs and mesdames, rest assured, the monarchy is in a similar state to monsieur Chevalier. It appears to be a rock on first sight - full of bluster and hollow threats. But as soon as pressure is applied, it will chip, flake and crack. Victory is a matter of time, oui? Viva le Republique! Archives militaire de la Republique - Oldum - 07-01-2010 To: All Republique pilots and members CC: VRG-Charles Gaule in space Bonjour Mon Amies, To all those who were not able to be there and see it with their eyes, I am proude to annouce that our flagship, the VRG - Charles Gaule was finally released from Chalons-de-Champagne's shipyard for it's first flight. The battleship is one of the few newly commissioned Redemption-class vessels which will serve our cause for a long time. Later on that day, the VRG-Charles Gaule's crew had a chance to gather experience in operating the ship and it's equipment while doing smaller missions in Champagne with the Command of Admiral Arthur Levesque. I myself was serving as a supervisor to these missions, and I can proudly say that both the ship and it's crew is ready for facing any enemy the Royalists can send. Viva le Republique! Lt. Commandant Evelin Durand Archives militaire de la Republique - jammi - 07-05-2010 To: Commandant and junior ranks.
Salut. As you know, pilots are a valuable commodity. This is not why I pen this message however. We have a steadily growing pool of talented pilots, be it from defections, or merely trained civilians who have enlisted themselves in the name of defending their compatriots. Given that you are reading this message, you no doubt form a solid core of that cadre of skilled combatants, non? From: Captaine Ruiz' de lu la Ramper. CC: Bomber pilots. An increasingly sore point is ships. We have the men and women to pilot them, but not always enough hulls to put into space. Due to this, your continued survival is of paramount importance. Basilisks in particular are of great importance, given that they represent an investment to the tune of tens of millions of Gallic credits and invaluable battlefield technology. We cannot afford to lose these ships. The GRN and GRP are mobilising in previously unprecedented numbers. Whether this is due to our recent bout of victories that have humiliated and disgraced them, or preparations for future fleet movements is unknown. What is known is you are needed on the battlefield more than ever, while we cannot afford the losses increased deployments entail. All bomber pilots of the indicated ranks will be attending survival classes, overseen by myself. Lieutenant Commandant Evelin Durand has already received basic evasive tuition and will thus be supervising. Monsieurs and mesdames, I will not be teaching you to hit fighter craft with your torpedoes. I will not be teaching you to become martial gods. These are for the most part wishful thinking, and attempting to line up a shot on a snub craft with your main battle weapon will for the most part merely result in you unnecessarily exosing yourself to enemy fire. I will be teaching you to survive, and protect the investment the people of Gallia, and the people of the Republique have granted you. You will learn what I pass on to you. Soon you will realise what my favourite saying means, and you will bear it in mind. I hope you have steady stomachs, pilots. "Faites un tonneau en spirale" ~Captaine de lu la Ramper. Archives militaire de la Republique - Wolfs Ghost - 07-06-2010 Comm ID: Amiral Arthur Levesque Target ID: Archives militarie de la Republique Subject: Report Last nights diplomatic meeting with a group known as Universal Shipping Incorporated was a success. A sirian armored transport named the Charlotte, and two Civilian transports with the names Michigan and Hudson unloaded food rations to Reunion station.
After unloading the food rations to Reunion, we proceeded into the Languedoc system to show them what the isolated war looked like. Amiral Sordeau explained quite a few things regarding the war, I was overseeing other operations from my Agama, while Dassault was overseeing the security detail on reunion, Commandant Letosve was also aiding in this. The Sirians were shocked when they entered the Languedoc system and saw the hull of the Cassard floating a few clicks away from the jumphole. As we approached the abandoned hull, a small wing of Royalist fighters and bombers attempted to ambush us. However, the ambush was futile after five minutes of fighting. We moved the Sirian transports to safety in orbit of Quillan. After a few more minutes of discussion, we decided it was best to save the tour of Gallia for another day when they didn't present a security risk. By this time the Nyon was enroute to help distribute the food rations from Reunion to Planet Quillan and Nimes Station in the Languedoc system. We have men and women currently over seeing the efforts of the food kitchens that we've opened on cities around Quillan. Despite our best efforts to try and ration these foods, I know just as well as others that these rations will run out within a couple of days. Bonjour. This report is dated from the 3rd of the 7th, 818'. Despite having already uploaded the communication logs to Macon's private pilot's server, it slipped my mind to redirect them to the Archive. From: Captaine Ruiz' de lu la Ramper. CC: IDF shipping. Upon undocking from Macon, I began my usual patrol around the Burgundy system, encountering no hostiles, or contacts of note. Extremely light Royal Police activity was noted, but nothing was heard of seen of them. Preparing to return to base, I entered the Nievre Asteroid Field, at which point I picked up a system-wide broadcast from the transport La.Bordeaux|IDF. Fully expecting the Royalist to merely ignore me, or simply stonewall with ridiculous monarchist dogma, I returned the signal with the intent to question and enlighten. The results were as to be expected at first... But events turned... Unusual, to say the least. I believe we may have earned ourselves a surprising result. After the above file's dialouge concluded, nothing more happened. With Macon's perimeter cleared once again, I docked and powered down. That is all. "Faites un tonneau en spirale" ~Captaine de lu la Ramper. Archives militaire de la Republique - Oldum - 07-10-2010 CC: Redistributing food supplies Bonjour! As you all know, we had a group of representatives from Sirius visiting us not long ago. Pilots of the company called Universal Shipping Industries have came in order to exchange knowledge and supplies with us. They did not come empty handed, their transport ships brought 9500 units of Food Rations to Reunion Station.
As it was requested by the Amirals earlier, the CCR - Nyon -with myself on board- flew to Reunion and loaded a shipment of 3500 units of Food Rations on board and took of towards Quillan. The flight was successful and we unloaded our cargo on Quillan, from where it will later be distributed to our stations by freighters. Once completing the route, we returned to Reunion for another shipment of Food Rations, this time we loaded 4000 units on board and headed back to Champagne. Most of the flight was undisturbed, however upon arriving to Macon, we came under attack by a Royalist patrol, fortunately Macon was able to launch awing of fighters to cover us while we dock. After unloading 500 units of Food Rations for Macon we proceeded with taking of after getting the report of the destruction of those Royalists who attacked us earlier. Our last destination was Marne in Champagne, where the freighters were already waiting for the remaining 3500 units of food which was left on board the Nyon. Other then the Royalist patrol, we did not meet any hostile vessels of any kind. All together, from the received 9500 units, 3500 were transported to Quillan, 500 units are stored on Macon Station , 3500 units are being redistributed from Marne and 2000 units were left on Reunion for further usage. Cordialement, Lieutenant Commandant Evelin Durand
