Hail, Corsair leaders!
On one of my voyages I met met a Corsair Gunboat. The name was MadCat and it was tagged as freelancer if I remember correctly. He at first admired my ship and I was happy to see a corsair friend around. But then he turned against me demanded cash, like I was some trader or miner. But that is not the point of this transmission. The think is that such people damage Corsair reputation.
I am gladly helping corsairs in need, but it might not continue so if I get hit by corsair ships, no matter who are flying them. As I know myself from trying to procure one of your ships that is not so easy to get one. And I advise you to be more careful when dealing out permissions for ship use to individuals.
But If I try helping corsairs and still do not get my light fighter, and then got hit by some dumb pirate with corsair gunboat, I do not think it is worth it.

"MadCat", you say?
Well, I handle the administrative part of our equipment requests after Pedro Moreno refers successful applicants. And I don't see any "MadCat" on this list. I'm in the process of refering the situation on.
Of course, this means that this "MadCat" isn't acting with the blessing of the Corsair nation, and I'm sorry for your loss. However, it's something we can't control with any sort of iron grip as we'd like. Referals are the next best thing.
The above is applicable only if he has an identification paper set other than Corsair. There will be different consequences if he is a Corsair, which is dictated by the Corsair Court.

I am glad to hear that he was not working on corsair orders. If you say that he has not permission to use the ship then this might be worth investigating. Though I am only 95% sure of the name as I was fighting for my life and scarcely noticed it, but I am positive about the "-cat" at the end.
Sadly my ship even modified is no match against Gunboats. But I will repair my ship and be abroad again. Soon hopefully.
