Dear Sirs

As Im sure you know from your ventures in the Dublin system, the Corsairs are becoming more and more of a threat within Bretonian space.
It is getting to the stage where we of the Bretonia Police Authority and the BAF (those not busy with the Kusari front) cannot hold back the flood.
We know that several of your vessels have been damaged and profits lost but the losses will get worse unless we do something about it.

The Essex fleet has been moved back into Dublin and they will do a fine job of preventing any Corsairs coming in from Omega 49 whilst the BPA will maintain a smaller force to prevent smuggling and patrol the fields where your ships extract ore.

This leaves another problem system, Omega 3.
O-3 is used as a Corsairs hunting ground, as Im sure youve experienced, and also as a door straight into Cambridge and from there into Dublin.
They also go through Omega 5 into Cambridge and from there they can access the rest of Bretonia.

It is time to start preventing the spread of these Criminals, to safeguard our civilians and subsidized Bretonian corporations. Where previously we have struggled with funding and equipment the Bretonia Police Authority are now fully kitted out for the job ahead.

What we require now is a staging area for our pre-emptive strikes against any Corsair groups making their way into Bretonia through Omega 3 and Omega 5.
Douglas Station would make the perfect base of operations.

We ask that we may use your station as a hub for the Anti-Corsair operations where we can refit, resupply, launch attacks from and retreat to.
A number of officers will be stationed onboard with several Templar Very Heavy Fighters and Challenger Bombers. We ask that you extend them every courtesy and they will protect your shipping and mining endeavours on top of crippling any Corsair incursion.

I await your Response

Regards

Commander Lucy Silsbury
Bretonia Police Authority

Hello m'dam.
Yes i'm aware of y'r efforts to increase security in Dublin and its much appreciated.
Giv's us the oppertunity to do what w'do best: Mining.

Concerning omega 3.
Well i give ye pe'mission to station a security detail there but f'r godsake don't turn the direct vicinity int'a battlefield.
We've several miners and there family's livin' on that station, keep that in mind please.

We already have a BPA security detail at the station, they do the internal security so my people are used to lots of officers, also iam sure my mechanics from which several have served in the BAF can help to keep y'r fighters supplied and in top condition f'r operations.

Oh on a side note.
That base is a no booze zone.
We do not allow alcohol on that base due the fact its so remote and the crew needs to be on there guard at all times, tell y'r officers not to bring any.

Other than that i can only say welcome and keep us safe.

Greetings Jack.

Sounds very reasonable, you have my assurances that alcohol shall not be consumed aboard the station.
We will not turn the area surrounding the processing plant into a 'warzone', we shall only leave and fall back when we cannot be observed and commence operations further afield; better to keep our fallback positioning as secret and safe as possible.

The Officers should be docking in one day.

I thank you for your cooperation and urge you to keep quiet about this, it would be detrimental to both of us to attract undue attention to your base.

Regards

Commander Lucy Silsbury
BPA
