I'm listening to the audio books of Terry Pratchet's stuff. Currently on "The Last Continent". Amazing stuff. Who else has listened to / read his work?

Me. Have pretty much the lot.

Night watch is pretty good.

Terry Pratchet. - Aurigae - 07-19-2010

I did. I don't know how does that translate to english, though, should be somewhat "Death's Apprentice" or something along those lines.

Terry Pratchet. - Stoat - 07-19-2010

Read them all. He's got a wonderfully warped sense of humour. All the books are great, but I think I like the early ones best of all. Rincewind ftw.

I also have quite a number of his books, I know I have *most* of them, but I'm sure I'm missing a few.

'Carpe Jugulum' is one of my favorites. Go Granny Weatherwax!

That'd be Mort. Yeah, I've got 90% of em as well - one of my favourite authors. Over the last couple of days I've read through the Wyrd Sisters, Witches Abroad and I'm going through Guards, Guards! now.:D

The ones about the guards are probably my favorite, but they're all quite good.

I think his style has actually gotten better as the series has gone on. I tried to go back to one of his early books and was unimpressed. (Though I also have nastalgia for Rincewind)

Terry Pratchet. - Patrician - 07-19-2010

Ive read MOST of them. I think Ive missed the last few, though. Guards series and Rincewind are my faves.

Read all that has been translated to my mother tongue, and a few others. Small Gods was my favorite.

Oddly, 'Small Gods' rings a few very large bells.

The idea that gods/goddesses, lose stature as their worshippers reduce in number seems curiously....right.

Know what I mean?

I also enjoy the books featuring the 'night watch' team very much.
I can just see Nobby, Carrot, Cpt. Vimes and the rest of the gang, doing their thing.

The most recent book I've gotten my hands on is "Maskerade", which is very much a Disc World version of "Phantom Of the Opera"..... but much funnier.
