Does anyone know who made this so I can MURDER THEM HORRIBLY in a quakerly, non-violent manner?
Got this little present at 10 AM yesterday - 5 minutes later I couldn't open any webpages or 95% of files ending in .exe, including the task manager... proportedly because 'This webpage/file is infected! Protect your computer now with antivirus software!' and it included a helpful link to something proporting to be a virus checker called Antivir.
Had to spend all day wiping that partition and reinstalling windows. Moral of this story: Steer clear of pogo.com.
P.S. Now my fonts in freelancer are all messed up. Urgh.

Try restarting in safe mode (F8 while booting) and uninstall it. Use NOD32 if you have the cash or the patience to update it with serials. Or, use the free Avast! program.

You can have legaly ESET smart security. Just go to their webpage and use 30-days trial and after month this let them send you another 30 day trial on another email adress.

PS: Maybe it's not legal but I'm sure they would do something with it if it was problem for them
PPS: I bought ESET Smart security ^^
