Pokemon Platinum: - cobraSting - 07-26-2010 I have played through Pokemon Platinum (fun game btw) a few times now, and I have found myself sticking to identical strategies in the playthrough. I want to know if the community here has any suggestions to assemble a good all around team of 6 pokemon that fit these criterion: 1) Must be available before 1st Elite 4 victory 2) Do not need to be traded (either for access or evolution) or breeding to reach evolution (i.e. Mamoswine) or access to Underground 3) Are not the following: Gyarados, Kadabra, Chimchar-line, Bronzong, Starly-line, Magnemite-line, Togepi-line; I have consistently used these almost every time 4) I would rather not use these unless they work with a totally unique team: Gible-line, Riolu-line Thanks, and I look forward to new and interesting ideas. Pokemon Platinum: - Pinko - 07-26-2010 ' Wrote:Rampardos: Zen Headbutt, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Iron Tail Luckily, about your online team, OPs can't play in Ladder matches, and 50% of your team are labelled as OP while Infernape and Rampardos are UU, so your only OU is Garchomp.:P Pokemon Platinum: - cobraSting - 07-27-2010 GENTLEMEN: Infernape Crobat Luxray Drapion Mamoswine Floatzel Pokemon Platinum: - Pinko - 07-27-2010 ' Wrote:GENTLEMEN: Why no one ever does Bug-types only teams? Pokemon Platinum: - Disparagess - 07-27-2010 You don't need anything to beat the elite 4, really. I mean, no strategy. All you need is a powerful sweeper team and they will all be dead in no time. Any pokemon party with a decent type coverage and attacks should get through it easily. Pokemon Platinum: - cobraSting - 07-27-2010 Aw but half the fun is pretending that you are a covert ops agent about to destabilize a crime syndicate:Dyou've got to have some strategy there:D |
