Just a suggestion to some of the factions attacking Kusari:

If you really feel the need to take your dreadnought into the battle please do it in an RP possible way.
Incidents I'm reffering to:

- About a week ago a dreadnought from a certain Kusari pirate faction (I believe it's their flagship) spend about 30mins sitting (5k) in front of New Tokyo, shooting the occasional BS that comes by. He was all alone there.

- Yesterday a dreadnought and ONE fighter from a different faction attacked Honshu/New Tokyo spending more that half an hour in both systems

Yes, Kusari doesn't have any bombers as of now and yes we cannot do anything about you, but in an RP scenario we'd just call a few of the Kusari battleships flying around and you'd lose your flagship. Bringing 3 fighters and 2GBs for a hit-and-run as it happened later yesterday is a much better idea in my eyes.

Agreed, I saw something very similar a few days back. Although isn't Kusari getting a bomber in the new version? This will all be fixed soon if so.

Yes, I was there, and there was the Kana Keiko (sorry if I wrote it wrong... :P), the Flagship of NovaPG Blood Dragons faction.

Kusari Naval Forces has only one Battleship for defending Kusari systems, but not for attacking for example Tau63 when some NovaPG members are online.

But as Black Dragons (the new and great Hogosha faction, "-{BD}-") growing up, and maybe there will be a Kusari Police faction soon, (and a Kusari Bomber squadron of KNF, and for police and Hogosha also will be available) I think NovaPG will think about it twice to enter with their BS in Kusari core system.

But I think this is normal. If a local pirate faction has 2-3 BS (in roleplay), than a military has 20-30. This is the reason that the pirates in roleplay use the hit-and-run tactics. its very infrequent that a pirate faction could be able to do an open military attack to a whole military fleet.

If someone able to do that, they are Corsairs and Outcasts, but I think, in realistic roleplay a pirate army never will be as big as an imperial one. They could launch a concentrated strike to a part of a big army, a lesser fleet.

it won t happen anyway anymore. from what i saw in beta 3, the raid groups have been buffed up greatly. - when i sat in new berlin with a shiny new bounty hunters cruiser testing the NPCs. i made the very mistake to attack one of those raid groups. - unfortunately another one popped up at that time.

2 battleships, 4 cruisers, 8 guard fighters + minor fightercrafts around reduced the cruiser to rubble in less than a few seconds. - there was no more easy npc farming. those battleships bite now - just like the stationary ones. a battleship will still be able to "farm" them, but once a second one pops up, it can easily turn into quite a fight - nothing you can let your mind drift away.

QCO have brought large ships into Kusari to hit NPCs in the hope that it encourages the KNF to become more active.

We want to RP with them a lot, that's why we're encouraging players to apply for KNF membership.

yup...last night....we had...
a bret BS...a Bret Cruiser, 3 templars, and a Blood Dragon VHF above kyushu.
got to be able to go mono a mono with those huge battleships, you know?

was great fun.
now, if only a few PC's would show up...

Funny that I was referring to completely different factions than QCO.

Now why would the 1 or two KNF PCs show up to commit suicide?
Just think... I'm login on... which character should I take... hmmm... 6 enemy characters in Kusari... hmm... let me think... definitely not the KNF one.
Even if I (or we) shot down all the fighters... we can just keep smiling on the BS and cruisers, boring them to death.
And yes I'm a fighter whore.

Good that the powerboat bomber is coming very soon now.

What are you complaining about, we may not do much RP on forum but we do RP ingame

and the other thing is, when i get online... i surely can stay all day in NT or Honshu.... as long as i dont get killed or my other members

So if you have a problem with that..... so be it

Also to add to what Vtec Said.

I am The User of the Kana Keiko and at no time did we go out of RP.

and if you think we should not have a battleship think again buddy!!!!!

Now as for all the new factions that may help you out in the future, all i say is bring it on big boys, for you may walk in the fight, but you will be bloody limping away.................

Get on with your own role play, dont get involved with the NovaPG for that will be your big mistake.

cheers

Don't forget that a single bomber can't take down a cruiser anymore, much less a battleship. I think that this is, in general, a good thing.

However, the problem is now everyone who isn't using capships (which will probably be most, I expect) will be using bombers, since you need an entire wing of bombers to take down a single capship.
