ive noticed in the past couple of weeks that my ping has gone from nearly 140 down to 120...i consider that a significant improvement and am curious about it

Actually no. We installed a fluxcapacitor based router. We call it Marty. It enables us to see the pings before the pongs. Cuts down about 20 ms on all the transmissions. Highly recommended.
