Summary: Shoot Outcasts in Tau-37, Tau-23, Kyushu and between NT and Colorado, included. 5 million a pop. Givel me your name & $5M before you go. Shots needed: ID, kill+timestamp not older than 7 days. No excessive formatting. Proof first, account name second, optional fancy talk next. Additional targets: Kusari ships with Pirate ID.

Background information

(the long version)

Workers and inhabitants of Tau-37 and Tau-23 systems have been suffering from Outcast raids and the local business groups now initiated a joint effort to reduce the Outcast threat to manageable levels.

[color=#FF9900]New applicants are now required to deposit an amount of 5 million credits to Insurance before they are approved. All approved parties must score at least one hit within 30 days from being approved, otherwise their registration is forfeit. The entry fee is not refundable. Technically, you'll get it back when you draw first blood. Long-standing collectors can idle as much as they want.

Last update: New Tokyo, Shikoku, Kepler, Galileo, Colorado, Cassini, Yukon and Alberta. Latest intelligence suggests that Outcasts have begun sending scouts and raiders into these systems, which must be prevented at all costs. We cannot let them establish a base there, it would impact commerce too severely. The bounty is extended to cover these areas.

Q: What do you want?
A: I want you to shoot Outcasts and meet the requirements.

Q: Will you give money?
A: Yes, if you shoot Outcasts and meet the requirements.

Q: How much?
A: 5 million for one Outcast gone boom. Regardless of shape and size. Cruisers and bigger aren't that much of a problem so no bonuses for that. Maybe there will be more money for wrecked Sabres at some point.

Q: Do you have money?
A: Yes, as of now, 300 million credits is reserved for this purpose. It is unlikely that it will ever run out because of steady replenish.

Instructions

Q: What do I need to do?
A: You need to do the following, and in the listed order:

Get a ship with a Mercenary, Freelancer or Bounty Hunter ID.
Make sure you see Outcasts as hostile - red on your HUD.
Post here or PM me, stating your name or your ship's unique name. Pay the registration fee.
Are you on the approved list yet? No = wait. Yes = continue to next step.
Kill Outcasts (instructions below) and take photos (details follow).
Post here and claim your kills within 7 days.
If you want more money, go to step 4.

Q: How do I shoot Outcasts?
A: Check if they are Outcasts, then shoot until they explode. Outcasts use Outcast ID, Outcast Guard ID and Special Operative ID with Outcast tag. Outcasts also use Kusari civilian ships (e.g. Geisha) with Pirate ID.

Q: Where can I shoot Outcasts?
A: Tau-37, Tau-23, Kyushu, New Tokyo, Shikoku, Kepler, Galileo, Colorado, Cassini, Yukon and Alberta. If they rabbit, you can follow them anywhere you like. (gates of hell, black hole event horizon, Cardamine fields of Malta, etc. etc.)

Q: I found something that looks like an Outcast, smells like an Outcast, steals like an Outcast and runs like an Outcast but doesn't fit the description above. What do I do?
A: Get me some pictures. If I like them, I'll append the description and you can shoot that, too.

Q: How do I take photos?
A: Capture the target ID and whatever else you want. After it explodes, capture the moment of destruction so that it doesn't look forged, and be sure there is a timestamp in that picture.

Q: Can I edit the screenshots to make them more fancy?
A: Do not waste your time doing that. ALL edited screenshots will be disregarded, ignored, and frowned upon. Reasonable size, however, is welcome.

Miscellaneous

Q: Why did you set up this bounty?
A: See 'Background Information'. There are excess credits on our side and the desire to run a charity as well.

Q: What about the poor Outcasts? They will suffer from this and starve? What about their families?
A: Tough for them but life goes on.

Q: Can I post here if I'm an Outcast or want to defend the Outcasts, or if I find it inconvenient that this bounty exists?
A: After a long consideration, you're free to ... haha. Fat chance. Don't even think about it. No.

Q: Does this bounty cover Cardamine transports?
A: Only if the pilots are Outcasts per se. For target definition, see above. Don't quote me on it, but I heard that Reavers will pay you for live ones.

Edit: Just to prevent any misunderstandings, cropped or edited screenshots do not carry any weight - apart from making the message look nice sometimes. This business is based on trust but I might do some checks on occasion. If you wish to hide your weapon list, collapse the right HUD portion, it makes you look less suspicious. To clarify: personally I don't care what guns you got. If you shoot the Outcasts with their own gear, it will bring extra giggles.

You misunderstood our representative - he didn't look at you funny, that's the way his face always looks.

How about we make an arrangement that, since we by the very nature of our business are hostile to Outcasts, you call it at 2.5 million per pop on the Outcasts up there and we skip all the registration stuff? You save some money, we make some money, and the whole general gist of Outcasts getting turned into freeze dried specimens of Cardi-powder gets accomplished much faster?

That's a weird form of apology, but it's accepted. Your proposition does not sound like a good deal that offers equal opportunities to everyone. I suggest that:

1. It be balanced with no restrictions on ship size or weight on your side, other than those you choose to impose on yourselves.

2. You will be paid the full 5 million reward whenever you use a gunboat or smaller to defend a civilian asset (traders, miners and alike). Said asset must be within sensor range at some point during the Outcast encounter.

3. You will not be required to pay the registration fee but each guildmember will destroy their first Outcast for free.
